The Bible Society of South Africa is very pleased to announce the long-awaited arrival of the highly anticipated Bible, the African Women Devotional Bible. This Bible came to fruition as a result of the collaborative efforts of 25 Bible Societies in Africa, and was specifically developed to meet the needs of the women of Africa. This collaboration for Africa by Africa is a first for Bible work on the continent and, in the process, transcended possible limitations of culture, language and even physical borders.

Women from various walks of life across Africa, of which fifteen are from South Africa, had written 365 devotions and 52 articles to address the particular issues facing women today.
