The Lord works in mysterious ways, yet He has a plan and a purpose for each and every one of us. If we open our spiritual eyes and hearts to His guidance, He will use us for His purposes and glory. I remember the 14th April 2015 like it was yesterday; the Lord used me as a vessel to depart an important a message about a coming revival in this nation and abroad.
I was driving home on the R50 Delmas road, about 5kms before Pretoria. It was as if something or someone lifted my head up to the sky. I suddenly saw a giant white dove in the clouds before me. I grabbed my phone and immediately took a few photos, I had only about 5-10 seconds to take the photos before the dove disappeared. For years, however, I really struggled to figure out why the Lord had shown me the dove in the clouds, and what it meant. I know that a dove, in Biblical terms, confirms the truth, similar to when Noah sent out a dove and it returned with an olive branch. Another example of a dove in scripture is when Jesus Christ was baptised by John the Baptist, and a dove appeared and confirmed that Jesus was the Son of God.
A prophetic dream
In August 2018, three years later, God gave me a prophetic dream that has since changed my life. I first saw that the global Church would soon be empty (remember, we only heard about Covid in 2019). Immediately thereafter, God showed me a massive open field with millions of people standing together. The crowd was huge. While looking down on this crowd, I saw a giant eagle landing about 60 metres to the right. As the eagle turned around to face the people, with its wings spread open, a few thousand started to run towards it immediately. When they reached the eagle and came under its wings, worries, sorrows, concerns, and fear immediately disappeared and a great peace came upon them, which was visible on their faces. These people turned around and started to call the other people in this crowd of millions. There was a second group who was hesitant to run. I saw them run, and then stop. The first group started to call them in, and they started to run again. When they reached the wings of the eagle, exactly the same thing happened to them as the first group – worries, sorrows, concerns, and fear immediately disappeared and a great peace came upon them.
Understanding this encounter
I asked the Lord Jesus, ‘Who are these groups of people?’ He answered and said, ‘My son, they are my children! The first group is my children who have a spirit of discernment, because they recognised me immediately, and the second group is also my children, but those who do not have a spirit of discernment’. I immediately asked the Lord, ‘Why are they only a few thousand?’ And God said, ‘Narrow is the road to me,’ and repeated it three times. I was so shocked because I thought that many, many more would be saved. I then looked back to the remaining millions of people and saw them frozen, they couldn’t move. I asked the Lord who they were and He answered, ‘They represent the world’. I asked Him again, ‘Why are they so fearful’, and He said, ‘They are the ones who are cold for the Gospel…’ and then there was a long moment of silence.
Praise and worship brings repentance
I then asked the Lord how we would get these people into the Kingdom. He said, ‘My son, the same way as King Jehoshaphat received his victory over his enemies, by praising and worshipping me!’ The Lord Jesus repeated it seven times. Then I saw the churches started to get fuller and fuller, and they started to praise and worship the Lord continuously for hours on end. The praise and worship became longer and longer every Sunday. Then I saw miracles, signs, and wonders – even dead people coming alive – during the praise and worship. Then I suddenly saw a sizeable number of these millions of people who were frozen, starting to run to the churches. They fell down before the Lord and started to repent. I was so surprised, but very excited.
Share the word about the revival
Just before I woke up, I heard the voice of the Lord say, ‘Wait until I speak to you again, then go and tell the churches about what you saw and heard!’ This is exactly what I am busy with now – I now know that we are in the very beginning of a spiritual awakening and only thereafter will come the biggest revival! This revival will come through praise and worship, and will quickly spread across South Africa and then abroad! Hallelujah, praise the Lord!
When is the revival happening?
When will this revival break out? I don’t know. God didn’t tell me when, but He did show me that it is time to go out. It is very dangerous to speculate with dates and years, but in my spirit it could be within the next few years that this revival will break out in Pretoria specifically. The most important thing, for me, is to stay obedient and sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Please remember one thing: It is all about Jesus Christ and the extension of His Kingdom, we are just the vessels and instruments.
Every Sunday morning I am currently walking all around Pretoria with a large red cross, dressed in white overalls, to make people aware that they should run back to Jesus and go back to church. The red cross symbolises that Jesus Christ paid the full price for our sins and the white overalls are because He has washed us white as snow – there is no condemnation for those in Jesus Christ.
