Our Jewish friends celebrated the Jewish holiday of Purim at the end of February. They celebrated God’s providence in delivering them from the wicked plans of Haman who influenced King Ahasuerus to pass an edict condemning them to death because “their laws are different from all other people’s, and they do not keep the Kings laws…Therefore it is not fitting for the king to let them remain.” It was in reality an attempt to prevent the Messiah and deliverer of Israel and the nations to be born. God had ordained that He would however be born in the land of Israel, as a Jew, approximately 485 year later.
2500 years later the enemy again attempted to decimate the Jewish nation through another wicked man. Sadly, close to 6 million men, women and children were murdered by the Nazi party, but they were not totally destroyed and God’s pre-ordained plans for the Jewish nation prevailed!
They returned from the nations after 2000 years in exile and built up their ancient nation again, just as the prophets had said they would. The ground would be laid for them to cry out for their Messiah and to welcome Him with the Words: “Baruch habah b’Shem Adonai” when He will return one final time to restore all things and to take up His rightful place as the King of Israel and of the nations!
They are returning back to their land and the Gentiles are partaking in their miraculous return from the nations:
Israel shut down their skies from 24th January and despite this unprecedented airport closure, our Father is still bringing His children home…and actually accelerating their return!
A short summary of the 2021 Aliyah flights to date:
1 January – 6am: First Aliyah flight of 2021 landed from Ethiopia. (ICEJ sponsored 100 of the 299 new Jewish immigrants).
3 January – 5 Bnei Menashe (Jews from the tribe of Manassah) arrived from India, including three Lhanghal sisters from northeast India – Rut, 28; Dinah, 21; and Avigail, 13 who immigrated to Israel, the land their ancestors were forced to leave 27 centuries ago. See the picture of the three sisters below.
12 February: ICEJ chartered an Air Ethiopian flight to bring back 302 Ethiopian Jews. They landed at a deserted Ben Gurion Airport and were met by ICEJ president, Dr Jurgen Buehler and Nicole Yoder (Vice president of Aid and Aliyah). The flight included, Benjamin, a 6 year old boy needing emergency heart surgery.
These were all part of “Operation Rock of Israel”. An emergency airlift launched in December 2020, with the aim to bring back 2000 Ethiopian Jews. They are especially vulnerable due to increased inter-tribal warfare, economic hardship and increased attacks on the Jewish communities. Many of them have been living in transit camps in Gondar and Addis Ababa in poor conditions, some for up to 20 years, waiting to make Aliyah. There are still about 7500 Ethiopian Jews waiting to come home and the Israeli government has committed itself to accelerate their return.
24th February – ICEJ sponsored another 2 flights – one flew in from Paris with 50 olim (Jewish immigrants) aboard and one from Moscow with 100 olim aboard. The planes landed within an hour of each other… God is literally bringing His people back from the North, South, East and West!
What a blessing for the ICEJ (Christians from the nations) to have sponsored 557 Jewish people to come home already in 2021!
Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and raise my signal to the peoples; and they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders”. Isaiah 49:22
International Criminal Court Resolution
The enemies of God continue to nurture an ancient hatred against His chosen people and various tactics continue to be employed in attempts to destroy the newly established Jewish nation of Israel (73 years old on 14th May).
The new ruling of the ICC is a low-level hypocritical tactic to undermine the Jewish State and to feed into the ongoing lies regarding Israel and the Palestinian issue. The Palestinian Authority, who initiated the resolution is not the government of a recognised state, which is a pre-requisite to bring such a motion. This makes it all the more bizarre that this resolution would even be entertained by a court of law.
