As the Covid-19 pandemic sweeps across the world Barnabas Fund is working to give urgent practical aid to poor, discriminated and persecuted Christians whose lives are now afflicted by the virus as well.

Many of our brothers and sisters in other contexts are already “at the bottom of the pile”, living on meagre daily wages. Now they have no wages. They have nothing at all. The most glaring case is our very own neighbours in Zimbabwe. There we are reliably informed that the public health system is all but non-existent and there is NO FOOD SECURITY and the economy is in tatters.

Using our network Christian organisations, agencies and denominations, in the newly formed Barnabas Coronavirus Emergency Network (BCEN) we are among others focusing on Zimbabwe, to get information and send help.  This is where you and your church can come in, as we make the following urgent appeals:

  • Please add to your prayers the sisters and brothers in Zimbabwe at this time.
  • Pray for work of BCEN in raising funds and getting the aid to the most vulnerable in time.
  • Make a special contribution as individuals and churches to this effort on easter sunday.

BCEN undertakes that all administration cost will be carried by Barnabas Fund – 100% of your gifts will go to this effort. Please take this request to prayer and be generous to our neighbours. Donations can be made many ways:
