In November 2022, the ANC regime approved and published the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Bill of 2022 for public comment. The Bill aims to repeal the Sexual Offences Act (previously the Immorality Act) of 1957 and also repeal Section 11 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offenses and Related Matters) Amendment Act of 2007 to decriminalise the sale and purchase of adult sex services in South Africa. The SALRC warned against this policy.
Deputy Minister of Justice, John Jeffrey, parroted the unsubstantiated claims “that the on-going criminalisation of “sex work” contributes to GBVF as it leaves “sex workers” unprotected by the law, unable to exercise their rights and open to abuse generally, not least when they approach state facilities for assistance.” This claim is proven categorically false in several international studies.
An LLD Study by Advocate Dellene Clark of the SALRC, entitled, “Sex for sale : a comparative analysis of legal models and the socio-economic determinants informing law reform in South Africa” proves government is taking its cue from UN agencies and pro-prostitution groups funded by leftist billionaires – while ignoring its own research institutions, NGO’s and citizens.
However, while preparing for final approval by Cabinet, concerns were raised by the State Law Advisors, the Bill may not pass constitutional muster if it does not also provide for the regulation of prostitution. This view is supported by a legal opinion from a Senior Counsel.
This means government cannot proceed with the Bill in its current form. It must be revised to include the regulation of prostitution – not the free-for-all the ANC regime envisaged to legalise the entire sex-industry which includes pimps, brothel owners and criminal syndicates – the very people who abuse & exploit women. The Bill is withdrawn until after the General Elections.
This is an important victory because it compels the incoming administration to acknowledge the compelling submissions made by citizens and organisations on prostitution law reform. Thank you for speaking up on this critical piece of legislation! Your voice is important and will undoubtedly contribute to a whole-of-society approach to formulate a just and workable policy.
Legalising the entire sex-industry is the most disastrous approach to prostitution – especially in a country like South Africa. Rampant corruption, endemic poverty, rising unemployment and high rates of exploitation, abuse and violence against women makes decriminalisation untenable.
Research indicates, full decriminalisation will expand and create parallel legal and illegal sex-trades. In Addition, adult and child prostitution are inextricably linked. The ANC regime intends normalising the commodification and exploitation of women under the illusion of equality.
You and I must pray and work towards a more just and equitable system that defends and protects women and children and not abandon them to the human parasites that prey on their vulnerabilities. Please urge everyone to reject the ANC criminal enterprise at the polls in 2024.
The “Basic Education Laws Amendment” (BELA) Bill is a not so subtle attempt by the corrupt and failed ANC regime to wrestle control of children from their parents to intentionally indoctrinate them with abortion and LGBTQ propaganda in the public and home schooling environments.
The “BELA” Bill, along with the “Hate Crimes” Bill are among the most insidious pieces of legislation ever devised by this discredited and morally bankrupt government. The ANC regime’s totalitarian tendencies have never been more apparent than in its obvious conspiracy to brainwash minor children and silence and punish citizens for its religious beliefs and convictions.
Basic Education Minister, (DBE) Angie Motshekga has failed miserably at educating the nation’s children. True to form, she now seeks larger budgets to fund her demonstrably failed policies after an international study revealed 81 percent of grade 4 pupils cannot read for meaning.
And while Motshekga and her failed regime insists “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE) is “essential health care for youth” the KZN Health MEC defines the 26,515 teen pregnancies recorded in her province in just eight months, “a disgrace for the black nation.” You think?!
Motshekga, insists CSE helps children “make informed choices about their sexual health” – a UNESCO slogan she mindlessly repeats – while unable to explain the skyrocketing rates of teen-pregnancies in SA schools – despite rolling out CSE across the country for the past 8 years.
The real aim of the “BELA Bill” is to give the Minister and her corrupt and incompetent officials greater authority to “manage learner pregnancy.” This means abortion services will be enforced and more than likely spiral out-of-control. Principals, teachers and School Governing Bodies (SGB’s) must keep the minor learner’s pregnancy and abortion secret (from parents).
Under the “Schools Act,” SGB’s determine the school’s curriculum policies and can reject CSE. The “BELA Bill” takes this power away from SGB’s and gives it to the Minister and her officials so abortion and LGBTQ brainwashing will become compulsory in public and home schooling.
The “BELA Bill” declares CSE an absolute “right” for every learner, “in order to make informed choices about their sexual health, orientation and safety.” CSE is defined as, “a central aspect of being human throughout life and encompasses sex, gender identities and roles, sexual orientation, eroticism, pleasure, intimacy and reproduction.” This is blatant sexual rights brainwashing.
The ANC regime, under the control of UNESCO, UNFPA and the WHO are perverting the state’s legislative powers to take control of your children – to indoctrinate them with abortion and LGBTQ propaganda to appease foreign radicals. This is a diabolical attack on parental authority!
Every parent, grandparent, educator and Christian leader must actively and publicly oppose this despicable act of child abuse. Your children are yours not the state’s! Government is usurping the legitimate authority of the family while simultaneously destroying education. Speak Up Now!
“And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord” Eph 6:4. This is the most crucial battle of our generation. We cannot fail.
