Some stories are not written because life was easy, but because pain had to be given a voice. Beyond the Tears: A story of hope is Rosetta Kabuya’s deeply personal account of grief after the tragic car accident that took the lives of her daughter, mother, and sister. It is almost impossible to imagine that kind of loss, and Rosetta does not try to make it sound tidy or simple. She writes from the place where faith meets heartbreak, where questions remain, and where healing comes slowly, one honest step at a time.

A book for the quiet seasons
What stands out in Rosetta’s story is the space she creates for the emotions many grieving people feel but seldom say aloud. Regret, anger, confusion, loneliness, and silence all form part of the journey. Yet this is not a book without hope. Rosetta gently reminds readers that God’s nearness is not always measured by what we feel in the moment. Sometimes the seasons that feel most silent become the places where He does His deepest work. For anyone who has lost someone, waited for answers, or wondered how to keep going after life has broken their heart, this memoir offers a tender and honest companion.

Purpose beyond the pain
Rosetta is a first-time author, wife, mother, and founder of Robyn’s Heart Foundation NPO, an organisation focused on youth and women’s development. Her heart to encourage others is clear throughout this book. Beyond the Tears is not only about what was lost, but also about what God can still restore. It is a moving testimony of grief, healing, forgiveness, and renewed purpose.
