A British member of the EU Parliament accuses Billionaire George Soros of wanting to “break down the fundamental values” of Western societies and remove Christian values from Europe.
Nigel Farage told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson that George Soros “doesn’t want Europe to be based on Christianity.”
Soros’ Open Society Foundations says its purpose is to bolster “democracies promoting minority inclusion in policymaking, supporting good governance and accountability, advancing education and public health reform, and helping societies adjust to European integration.”
But its critics accuse it of funding various left-wing causes that undermine national sovereignty and traditional values.
Farage said, “George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, which he poured billions of dollars into, I mean this is the biggest political campaigning organisation in the world. He wants to break down the fundamental values of our society.”
Soros’ group closed up shop in Hungary last month after repeated accusations by Prime Minister Viktor Orban that Soros was meddling in Hungarian politics by funding opposition groups. 
Orban also accused the EU, the UN, and Soros of all working to force Hungary to take in thousands of mainly Muslim migrants to weaken its independence and its Christian identity and culture.

Europe is not a Christian continent, but a secular humanist one. How can one “de-christianise” something that is not Christian? Furthermore, Many of the Values which Islam supports (e.g. anti-abortion, pro-marriage, thrift, self-discipline) are compatible with Christian Values, whereas Secular-Humanist Values are not. Christians are to shine like stars, and stars shine brightest in the deepest night. Philippians 2:14. Christians must be “strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus”, and not look to human authorities to bolster their faith. Run the race with patience, and look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 11). New Testament Christians were strong and had a joyful witness in spite of the opposition they face. That opposition made them stronger. Let’s take our trust away from the hopes of a “Christian Government” and fix them in Jesus. The only Nation which God endorsed was Israel – and Israel has failed dismally to be a Godly Government. God judged them repeatedly because they failed to live up to His Governmental standards. Let’s not trust in earthly powers, but in the Lord – Psalm 20:6!
