More than 2,000 delegates representing a diverse array of countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Armenia, India, Hungary, Australia, South America, France, Mozambique, Zambia, the Kingdom of Swaziland, Congo, Kenya, Malawi, and Lesotho, gathered for the Ministers Conference held at the KwaSizabantu Mission in KwaZulu-Natal from 3-5 March. This year’s theme was “Lord, send me.”
This gathering was marked by a spirit of unity and collaboration as attendees engaged in discussions that aimed to foster connections among various cultures and communities. KwaSizabantu provided an inspiring environment for delegates to share insights, experiences, and strategies for making a positive impact in their respective regions.
For many years, KwaSizabantu has taken the initiative to host a Ministers’ Conference every two years, inviting spiritual leaders and people involved in Christian ministry. These gatherings attract leaders from various denominations, spanning the local landscape and international participants. This year, Kwasizabantu preachers shared the pulpit with several outstanding preachers: Bishop Nkosinathi Ndwandwe (Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Natal); Kevin Swanson (Generations Ministry, USA); Hans Koller (KwaSizabantu Ministry, Romania); Chereddy Deevanaiah (Society of holy Ministries, India); Dr Robert Molnar (Holy Ministries, India).
Chereddy Deevanaiah from India had a strong message of perseverance. He mentioned specifically the KwaSizabantu Mission and its founder, the late Rev Erlo Stegen who persevered through attacks on his work and stayed obedient to his calling for over seventy years until his death to preach the gospel among the Zulu people. “I can speak only my mother tongue”, he said, “but with God’s grace, I have preached the gospel in many churches worldwide. But I have never seen any place like KwaSizabantu anywhere in the world during my travels. We want a revival in India just like the revival among the Zulu people here.”

The first-ever KwaSizabantu Ministers’ Conference took place in 1988 and has since been held every two years. Speakers from various denominations and backgrounds, both local and international, are invited to share their insights. The conference has been a powerful experience in the past, and this year’s event once again impacted attendees significantly. The feedback was overwhelming positive and spoke of inspiration and encouragement.
Christian conferences provide an opportunity for fellowship among Christians beyond the local church. They aim to spread the gospel, support Christian leaders in their roles, and strengthen faith and devotion. These conferences have become a source of blessings and encouragement for attendees, fostering collaboration and connection among diverse Christian leaders. Participants share their insights and teachings on contemporary issues and the emerging challenges that the Church faces today.
KwaSizabantu is a non-denominational Christian mission station that reaches out to people of all racial and cultural groups. It maintains a theologically neutral stance, ensuring that the doctrinal beliefs of different church groups are respected and preserved. This openness invites a wide range of participants involved in Christian ministry, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity.
A Christian conference provides an opportunity to deepen one’s faith, strengthen one’s connection with God, and experience spiritual renewal through worship, prayer, and Biblical teachings. Attending these conferences fosters spiritual encouragement and creates a space for comfort and growth within the Body of Christ.
Christians need togetherness like the KwaSizabantu Ministers’ Conference because it gives us the strength and support to succeed spiritually. It allows us to come together and accomplish great things that would otherwise be impossible.
