On Sunday 2nd of February 2020 at Homevale, Kimberley, Christians from different denominations came together to take a stand against abortion in South Africa.
The service leader was pastor van Schalkwyk from Firewood Pinkster van God as well as Reverend Johnson from Living Waters for Thirsty Souls Ministry who opened the proceedings with a prayer.

The main speaker was apostle Titus from Campaign For Jesus: Protect The Unborn Child. He explained how he received the revelation about God’s wrath over South Africa because of abortion. He further explained from the Word of God how the killing of innocent lives brings a curse over the ground ( when Cain killed Abel), the clouds ( when Saul killed the Gibeonites) and the atmosphere (when Abimelech, with the help of the people of Shechem killed the sons of Gideon).
He further urged the church not to associate with and support those who kill innocent babies in the womb.
The event was preceded by three days of fasting and prayer. One of the seven prayer points was for a referendum to abolish the Choice on Termination of Pregnancy Act.
There were several others who participated in the 3 day fasting but could not attend the event on Sunday the 2nd of February 2020.
The full prayer points were for:
- Thanking God for every pregnant woman and her baby in the womb.
- Favour and prosperity for both.
- For a Referendum to abolish the Choice on Termination of Pregnancy Act.
- For the eyes of the church to be opened.
- For true revival that breaks the chains of sin and makes us slaves of God and righteousness.
- For the politicians’ hearts to change from that of stone to flesh and blood.
- For God to bless S.A. with prosperity and to turn His wrath away from S.A.
Apostle Titus called for the last three days of August 2020 to be set aside by all Christians as a period of fasting and prayer for the injustice done to the UNBORN CHILD in the womb, a time for weeping before the Most High God.
