September traditionally heralds the season of Spring.  After 14 years of defending the family and advancing Biblical values in South Africa, Family Policy Institute (FPI) is doing some “spring cleaning” of its own to ensure we are “leaner and meaner” and more strategically positioned to defend faith, family and freedom in South Africa.

I have streamlined operations at (FPI) to greatly enhance our efficiencies for the battles ahead. Our research indicates we can reach more people much quicker via social media.

As a result, we have discontinued our TV programs on TBN and Faith channel to focus our time, energy and resources on innovative social media campaigns to reach more citizens.

We have migrated to a more effective bulk-mailer system that interlinks with all major social media platforms. This means my newsletter and short “breaking news” videos will automatically be distributed to key target audiences for greater impact and response.

It takes about two weeks to get TV programs on air. In contrast, we can mobilize tens of thousands of citizens to action via social media within 48 hours via focused campaigns.

We have developed a larger online facility to assist citizens to easily make submissions to government on critical issues. We are finalising our campaign to warn parents/educators about the dangers of CSE and provide details about the safe alternative, “Smart Choices.”

We are also re-organizing to better inform, equip and mobilize Christian citizens to defeat the agendas to redefine man, woman marriage and decriminalise prostitution in SA.

“Hate Crimes” laws and the “PEPUDA Amendment” remain a threat to religious freedoms.

The “Surveillance & Control of Notifiable Medical Conditions” Amendment may be enacted in early 2023. We must be ready to mobilize citizens to defeat this draconian legislation.

FPI has “Special Consultative Status” at the UN. I am working closely with our international pro-family allies to restructure the global movement to share vital information quicker  to improve our response to threats against faith, families and freedoms at the UN.

Several leaders in the global pro-family movement will attend the “2022 CESE Africa Summit” in Pretoria 20 – 22 Sept. We will use this opportunity to restructure and align existing networks across the world to significantly improve our global advocacy impact.

We are working diligently to establish and finalise the new online facilities and structures to considerably enhance FPI’s targeted social media campaigns against “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE), redefined marriage, decriminalised prostitution and the proposed “Health Amendment Bill” – that seeks to control every aspect of citizen’s lives.

We face formidable threats against faith, family and religious freedoms over the next 28 months. The Electoral Reform process will be critical for the change we are hoping for. However, the ANC regime is resisting this constitutionally mandated process.

Civil-society groups are working hard to move this process forward so that honest and competent independent candidates can contest and challenge the dominance of political parties in the General Elections in 2024 – for the first time in our democracy.

FPI is gearing up to assist in this process. We will ensure voters receive credible information through our targeted campaigns so they can make informed choices at the polls.

Please pray for this major transition so we can serve the Body of Christ with excellence.
