Over 86 towns and cities across South Africa, partook in a Jesus March on Saturday 27th April 2019. On the 21st March 2019, Dr. Nico Landman, (who had been celebrating the Jesus March at Beula Park for 6 years in a row), requested that we announce it to South Africa and also celebrate the Jesus March in other towns and cities.
This year was therefore the symbolic 7th year of the Jesus March, and the first time that it would be at various locations across the nation. There were towns and cities from Limpopo in the North to the Cape in the South, and from Mpumalanga in the East, and across to the West Coast.
The theme was around the verse John 8:36, which states: Who the Son sets free is free indeed. This Scripture was selected namely as the marches took place on True Freedom Day, or some called it Freedom-in-Christ Day, and all Christians were prompted to participate on the day. The white shirts worn on the day proclaimed the love and faith in Jesus our King.
The 7th year of Jesus March: there was spontaneous celebration and joy in the streets of many towns and cities of South Africa! God gets all the Glory for this amazing and momentous day for South Africa, where Christian’s boldly proclaimed their faith in the streets of South African towns and cities.
What a glorious day it was! The timing is also most profound, since the elections are little more than a week away, and as Christian’s we are aware of all the incredible victories in the Word, where the peoples PRAISE precedes an incredible VICTORY!
Could this be the upcoming elections of the 8th May 2019, that so many Christian’s have prayed for God to intervene and establish a Godly Government. The Scripture; Matthew 9:10 inspired this dream, …In South Africa as it is in heaven. And Psalm 36:5-6 are the 4 pillars to this Kingdom Nation dream; namely: Love, Righteousness, Justice and Faithfulness.
The 8th May will be another opportunity for all Christians to wear white and vote right, for a God-fearing party that honours Jesus Christ in their manifestos, and their values. This can be seen on www.savotersguide.org or www.kingdomnation.co.za
There has been an incredible shift in the atmosphere, after this historical day if the 27 April 2019. This has resulted in much HOPE and EXCITEMENT for the 8th May 2019 Election Day. Can a nation be born in a day? Yes Lord on the 8th May!
