Wild Canaan Ministry, an NPO, received the mandate from the Lord to fill every sports stadium in South Africa with PRAISE AND WORSHIP.
“The reason is because we believe that the restoration of a broken city or community can only happen when we set our hearts and relationship right with the Lord. Gratitude is not always easy, but we believe that being grateful will carry us through this difficult time in our country and help us to endure,” says Quinton de Vries, from Wild Canaan Ministry.
This is the ministry’s third major project. Last year (19 August 2020) they presented the successful A NIGHT WITH THE KING with guest artist Jo Black and three other worship groups in the country. According to the organizers, 14 500 people attended and a further 5 500 tuned in to the live streaming on YouTube.
This year they are presenting it at the TOYOTA Rugby Stadium in Bloemfontein. “We want to host a worship event that will bring hope and inspire people. We believe that faith is an option for our communities,” says Quinton.
“We invite churches to the gathering as well as people from the surrounding villages of the Free State: Come and attend the event to praise the Lord together.”
The groups, THE SHELTER, VIRANDER, HERLEEF and ARNOLD DE WET will perform. Twenty churches in Bloemfontein are also joining forces and will form a band to lead the worship together in the evening. Where there is unity, the Lord commands his blessing!
