Good day, precious friends. There is a great lesson to learn from this testimony which happened on a recent outreach.
The power of forgiveness
We came across a woman who had been affected by a stroke. She had a problem with her leg. The team prayed for her, but there seemed to be something blocking her healing. It was unforgiveness. We then prayed with her to forgive those who had abused her. We prayed again for her healing. This time she sensed the presence of God come over her. That night, during the open-air outreach, we noticed this same woman dancing in praise to God. She looked totally different. She was dressed so smartly and even her face was different. She was changed, she was indeed a “new creation”.
Experiencing God’s love
Many people have been hurt badly and are walking around with unforgiveness. Let us learn from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and forgive all. Forgiving others is the only way we can experience the fullness of God’s love and blessing, and share God’s love with others. Luke 23:34, “Then Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.’”
