Moreleta Church in collaboration with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), Fire And Fragrance South Africa, brings you American Pastor, Speaker and Author, Francis Chan with Andy Byrd live in South Africa for Exalted. This two-night gathering is to be held at Moreleta Church (PTA), on Friday 31 March and Saturday, 1 April 2023 from 6pm – 9pm. Fire And Fragrance, with an established presence in South Africa, is a community within YWAM that believes this generation is the solution to sharing the love of Jesus with the three billion people that have never experienced the power of the gospel.
“We want to develop young leaders that carry fire in their hearts for Jesus that becomes the fragrance of Christ to the lost.” says Francis Chan. “We encourage you to join us for a revival meeting, all about Jesus as we gather to see the Lord high and exalted just as it is written in Isaiah 6:1.”
With prayer and word from Francis Chan and Andy Byrd, these world renown leaders will be sharing their unique insights and perspectives on what it means to live a life devoted to Jesus, with a focus on spiritual renewal. The praise and worship will be led by Fire And Fragrance Band, Circuit Rider’s Worship Leader, Eniola Abioye (USA), along with local artist James Pringle.
As with both Francis Chan and Andy Byrd, Moreleta Church is devoted to the agenda of renewal and revival. “Aligning with their mandates, Moreleta Church’s mission represents a river that brings forth life through the Spirit of God. We believe that if the Exalted gatherings introduce thirsty people to the river of life, we have the obligation to do this over and over again!” says Teodor van der Spuy, Pastor at Moreleta Church.
Known for his ability to convey Christian teachings to a diverse audience, inspiring individuals beyond the customary limits of religious barriers, Chan is a New York Times best-selling author of Crazy Love, Letters to the Church, You and Me Forever, and Forgotten God, and his books have also sold thousands in South Africa alone. Francis Chan teamed up with YWAM following a distinct experience where he audibly heard the voice of God while attending an event, instructing him to safeguard them as they are his children and tours globally with the movement. Currently, Chan’s son is enrolled in Discipleship Training School with YWAM Fire and Fragrance South Africa, located in Potchefstroom and his family has a deep love for the country.

About Francis Chan
Francis Chan is a Christian pastor, speaker, and author. He is the former teaching pastor of Cornerstone Community Church in Simi Valley, California, which he founded in 1994. He is also the founder and chancellor of Eternity Bible College and the author of several books, including “Crazy Love,” “Forgotten God,” and “Erasing Hell.” Chan is known for his passionate preaching style and his emphasis on discipleship, community, and living out one’s faith in a radical way. He has also been involved in various charitable organizations, including Children’s Hunger Fund and World Impact. Francis Chan was serving as a pastor at We Are Church, a network of house churches that he founded in San Francisco, California. About Andy Byrd
Andy Byrd is an American speaker and leader in the global missions movement. He is widely recognized for his passion for Jesus and his commitment to helping others experience the life-changing power of the gospel. Born and raised in California, Byrd began his career as a youth pastor, working with young people and helping them to develop a deeper understanding of their faith. Over time, he began to feel called to a larger mission, and in 2007, he co-founded the International House of Prayer University, a missions training program focused on equipping young people to share the gospel with the world. He has worked with a number of organizations and ministries, including Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and Iris Global, and has led mission trips to countries such as Brazil, China, and Mozambique. Throughout his career, Byrd has remained focused on his core mission: to help people discover the love of Jesus and to empower them to share that love with others.
