“Revival is when God visits a city, church and people individually” – Apostle Nicky Van Der Westhuizen
The 12th of March 2023 marked a very significant day at New Beginnings Christian Family Church (NBCFC) in Boksburg, Johannesburg. A heavy weight of God’s presence descended upon the church and service. In that Holy atmosphere, Apostle Nicky prayed, dedicated and handed over the church, the building, and everything to God for Him to use for Revival. We were meant to have usual Corporate prayer on Monday evening, 3rd April, but the Lord sought to do otherwise and that was the start of extended Revival meetings!!
For nine weeks, we experienced countless encounters with our Living God! During this time, we saw supernatural healings, deliverance, miracles, testimonies and many financial breakthroughs.
As the Revival continued, the hunger for God intensified. People and viewers from 194 out of 195 countries were touched by God throughout this Revival including 1 million people who connected and were reached on all our social media platforms. The power of restoration and the love of God caused people to return to God and the House of God!
Atheists, Muslims, Hindus and non-believers committed their lives to Jesus. A powerful testimony was when a professing atheist who had denied the existence of Christ for 40 years, gave her life to Jesus. And when the Holy spirit encountered her, she immediately started speaking in tongues.
Testimonies flooded in from everywhere! Cancers were healed, blind eyes and deaf ears were opened, and some people testified that their lame friends and family can now walk.
We saw the manifestation of the Word of God that we read in Joel 2:28… “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh.”
Many pastors and churches, both small and mega, throughout South Africa and around the globe took up Apostle Nicky’s challenge in Week 8 to host Revival meetings at their local churches.
Let it be known to all…..Revival continues!!! We look forward with great joy and expectation to see what the Lord will do!!
