Carman is a contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, television host, and evangelist. He has battled with cancer for years, yet was declared cancer free in 2016. In a post on his Facebook a few days ago, Carman announced that doctors have found 3 spots on his lungs, and is asking for prayers.
After his initial diagnosis in 2013, Carman was quoted in an interview with Charisma News saying, “I’m going back after the devil. If he wants to come after me, I’m going after him. I’ve always had this concept of spiritual warfare. I am going to make a determination that if, in fact, I only have three good years, then I am going to make them count.”
On his Facebook page Carman posted the following:
“NEED YOUR PRAYERS TO HELP TO GET BACK IN REMISSION!
“IN 2013 I was diagnosed with incurable multiple Myelona cancer. After 9 months of chemotherapy Doctors said the average remission was 9 years. A year ago January, the oncologist told me my Myeloma markers were spiking. Meaning, that In all this time I had no signs of cancer and in complete remission, but now the tests tell us 17% of the cancer is back. 9 years reduced to 6 years.
“So for 5 months and between 5 heart stent operations, I tried a few different cancer treatments that failed. My doctor retired from Mt. Siani in NYC and sent me back UAMS in Arkansas, to the new Wonderman of myeloma, Dr. Frits VanRhee, who decided to try combining medicines and take a more aggressive approach. Since last July I’ve been on the more advanced medicine and getting chemo shots in my stomach every Tuesday. That really hurts. They added a type of steroid, which bloats you up. So I immediately gained 20 pounds of water weight I couldn’t get rid of. (Ugh)
“Now this week I’m back in Little Rock after faithfully following this regimen for 7 months to see if this new approach has worked. I also will go into surgery on Tuesday for a bone biopsy. That’s where they drill in your hip for a piece of bone to see if there’s any signs of cancer. Wow, what a week. So please pray, because I can’t quit, I can’t stop fighting and I still trust God to have his perfect will done in the end. But I can’t do it without your prayers and support. Sunday January 19th is my birthday and what I really want is a cancer free body. I’ll let you know as soon as I know. I’m a Melanoma fighter and no sign of c-cells since my last surgery in 2019 – have 6-mnth checkups to ensure clean bill of health continues.
Please pay urgent attention to Brenda Adesso’s suggestion of Hemp Oil – it most certainly does work! I started off with 3 drops every night, progressed over time until I now take 5ml every evening before retiring and no longer need chronic medicines. Ever since my daughter informed me of your condition. I fell to my knees after I realized I felled you and the other saints of God on the front lines. I had to repent because I allowed unimportant things to take me off the wall. I’ve took to praying every morning and night for your total healing. For this disease to be crushed by the authority and power given to us by the Lord. That this attack of the enemy, the devil will fell and never return in the mighty name of Jesus. Please forgive me my brother in the Lord, my forgetfulness, l won’t fell you again. Remember greater is the Jesus in and there are more that be with then the world that is against you.
