“We are redefining Reformation in the Church and what it means to change the world.”

What on earth is a Reformational church?
The Reformational church is God’s agent of constant change from glory to glory, conforming to the image of His Son. That’s why we are straightening and aligning the church to what Jesus intended in the first place.

When did the Reformation begin, with Martin Luther?
Jesus is the ultimate reformer bringing about a new covenant with the shedding of his own blood, bringing about remission of sins once and for all. His reformation has never stopped and we are continuing with that because His new covenant has been in effect since His death and resurrection.

Martin Luther’s reformation started when he nailed those 95 theses to the door in Wittenberg Castle church on October 31, 1517. He condemned the excesses and corruption of the Roman Catholic Church, especially the papal practice of asking payment—called “indulgences”—for the forgiveness of sins. However, Luther did not carry on to further reforms of baptisms, for instance. Remember, that he was a reformed monk who married a nun! His eldest son was baptized in water. Another reformer at the time, Zwingli, took liberty and started to kill the Anabaptist believers who were baptized and filled in the Spirit. That means that we should continue to reform and we should all do our share, building on the reforms of previous generations.
Then how do we reform with so many different denominations?

New wine requires new wineskins, creating a dilemma for modern church structures. So many churches seek to please man rather than God and this has a version of success and growth. We should rather please Jesus first and seek His kingdom on earth, then paradigms, church laws and structures will have to shift to accommodate what the Holy Spirit is saying today.

How do we know if modern reformers are accurate?
We learn from the early church who continued in the apostles’ doctrine, in breaking of bread, fellowship and prayers. Acts 2:42. The apostles’ doctrine was the revelation of Christ that they received after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and they wrote about it in the Gospels, Acts and the Apostolic Epistles.

When it comes to the fivefold ministry gifts that Jesus gave to equip the saints for the work of ministry according to Ephesians 4, one should recognize that those called to function will resemble servant leadership inducted by Jesus the Chief Apostle Himself. You will know them by their fruit. Knowledge of God’s word exposes demi-gods who proclaim themselves as the reincarnate Christ! Jesus foretold such spiritual error and had a plan to counteract this anti-Christ spirit. He prepared a body of believers of which He is the head.

But which church is then the true church?
The one registered in heaven! Because we are all on earth and in fallible human state. Jesus uses churches on earth as the entry point into the true church of the Firstborn registered in heaven, according to Hebrews 12:22-24.

Heb 12:22 “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the Firstborn who are registered in heaven…”

Churches on earth that bear the right fruit, represent the beatitudes of Christ, show love and communion and fulfill His great commission. They are entry points into the true church registered in heaven.

So why bother registering churches on earth?
Because we are taught by the same apostles of the early church to submit to every ordinance of man: 1 Peter 2:13, 14. While we are here, we are to occupy and conquer enemy territory until Jesus comes for His bride, the church – the global body of Christ from every tribe, tongue and nation.
So how do we work together across denominational lines?

If Joseph is to be considered as an example of pioneering apostolic ministry, then we can also look at his prophetic words over his life: “Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a well. His branches run over the wall. The archers have bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him.” Gen 49:22-26.

Since the 1990’s, the true qualities of a ‘Joseph ministry’ has come into play – Joseph went ahead of his brothers to preserve a posterity. When there was famine, he stored food. What we have seen is that God has strategically placed apostles in every corner of the earth to galvanize and pull together the full force of the fivefold ministry gifts. You will find them in interesting, unheard of places and churches that seem to been forgotten in the mainstream church. But these are the salt of the earth type ministers who have quietly laid down their lives as foundation stones, packed tightly next to the cornerstone of Jesus’ reformation of His church. Such apostolic centres around the world have much spiritual food to fuel the change in the church and provide a sustained victory over religious spirits and traditions of men.

There is an invisible network that can only be accessed by divine connections. Some of the apostles we relate to are in underground churches and don’t even want to have their face on Facebook! But they are wonderful gems in the foundations of the heavenly Jerusalem – of which we all are by faith. Eventually, we will disappear and Jesus Christ will appear in glory for the world to see and bow before and our job will be done. Meanwhile we pray for Christians to really be more like Jesus towards mankind and each other, exhibiting His love in any way His Spirit leads and we combine our efforts with like-minded believers across the lines to bring in the great end time harvest, like a combine Harvester. We encourage all believers to be agents of change!

“Eventually, we will disappear and Jesus Christ will appear in glory for the world to see.”

  1. Thanks for making the effort to explain the present reformation linking with the original one. It gives a complete perspective that the church is not an afterthought in the mind of God just to save a few gentiles and that Dake’s dispensational theory has no Scriptural foundation at all. Being part of the Eternal Church is a far better way to go than to think we are an afterthought or second rate Christian to the Jewish Believers.

  2. This is the truth. Accurately said. Welldone to Joy magazine for choosing such richness. Thus is a divine connection. The world is eagerly waiting for the unmasking of the sons of God.
All honor to Jesus Christ our Lord.
