Greetings!
I am writing to ask you to help me travel to attend a major, global initiative – the ARC Forum. This is taking place in Greenwich, London from Monday 30 October to Wednesday 1 November 2023.
When I first heard about this event, which is limited to 2,000 delegates and is by invitation only, I prayed, “God, I need to be there!”. I am therefore so privileged to have been selected and personally invited as a delegate to participate in this landmark event.
The ARC Forum is the initiative of some of the most respected conservative leaders and thinkers of our generation, including Jordan B. Petersen, Baroness Philippa Stroud and historian Niall Ferguson. Its purpose is to gather senior, internationally recognised leaders to co-create “a vision for a better world where every citizen can prosper, contribute and flourish”. Its mission statement is to “provide an alternative to ‘the claim that decline is inevitable’”.
Although the event will address broad areas and interests, it will assemble generals from all corners of the world who are fighting for faith and freedom. This is my passion and, for the past eight years, it has been a guiding principle for my life and work. It represents a unique opportunity to hear from (and to network with) amazing people from around the globe with the same heart and vision for our world.
To be selected is an answer to my prayer, but I want to go with your partnership and support backing me. In a very real sense, I will be representing the faith communities of our nation, whose rights Freedom of Religion South Africa (FOR SA) has fought so hard to uphold and protect. With your help, I will be able to play a part in creating a new paradigm, vision and strategy for a better future for our nation, our world and for the generations who will follow us.
In practical terms, the costs for me to travel to attend this event are in the region of R60,000 – R70,000.
Contributions can be deposited into the FOR SA account, with “ARC FORUM” as the reference.
In the event that these contributions exceed the cost of attending this event, any surplus will be used to support the ongoing work of FOR SA in South Africa.
