Kenya is under intense pressure from pro-abortion groups to leave the Geneva Consensus Declaration. They have done press releases, written letters and now camped on Twitter to push their evil intentions.
The governments of Brazil, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia, Uganda, and the United States held a virtual gathering on October 22, 2020, staged in Washington, D.C. This was a bold sign showing support for a multinational ceremonial signing of the Geneva Consensus Declaration.
The pro-life declaration seems to have agitated the pro-abortion groups in Kenya, they now want the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to withdraw from the declaration.
The Kenyan laws are pro-life .The bill of rights re-iterates that life begins at conception.
A survey released by Ipsos in August of this year revealed that 85 percent of Kenyans are opposed to abortion. Kenya is also a christian nation whose beliefs, culture and way of life is inspired by God.
The Geneva Consensus Declaration strengthens the countries that joined it to achieve these four pillars:
- Better health for women,
- The preservation of human life
- Strengthening of the family as the foundational unit of society
- Protecting every nation’s national sovereignty in global politics. For example, it is the sovereign right of every nation to make their own laws in regard to abortion, absent external pressure.
Kenya has been under a lot of pressure to legalize abortion on demand, that is why this declaration is a big win not only for the pro-life community, but for generations of pre-born babies.
