My son and I are travelling missionaries, living by faith with no address. We have ministered together in South Africa, Lesotho, Malawi, and Botswana.
In 2012 I was at a crossroad in life and spent 3 months soul searching in Mauritius. The words “travel throughout the region…” repeatedly caught my attention in the Bible. That same year, my son, Dawid, attended mission school in the Philippines and surrendered his life fully to God. Looking back now, we can see the timing and setup to join us together in ministry, which was unclear at that point.
Following God’s call
Arriving in South Africa, I had no idea what “travel throughout the region” should look like, and I fumbled my way forward. It was hard in the beginning. I was constantly on the move, some nights I did not even know where I was going to sleep. I thought that I had little fruit to show, other than publishing a children’s book that I had previously authored called Trackeroo and the Crew. Dawid joined me the second year and we sold the book in all the leading stores in South Africa. It was our passion to build Biblical character into children through the story, but we did not know how to make the venture work financially. We found ourselves at wits end about how to go forward.
Revival for authentic Christianity
At this time, we started preaching to people. Even though lives were transformed with ample testimonies, we stayed in dire straits financially. It was my son’s refreshing conversations about the power of the Gospel, his supernatural encounters with God and angels, as well as the way he modelled Jesus to me that radically transformed my life. A fierce hunger and fiery love was ignited in my soul for revival of authentic Christianity. I found myself propelled into a whole new direction of enjoying, expressing, and sharing my faith.
Travelling around Africa
Dawid and I attended the Azusa Now revival gathering, a faith trip to Los Angeles, which set us off on a revival ministry path. It started with fire conferences near Hermanus, and then our work quickly spread beyond SA borders. We were invited to Lesotho to do mission work amongst the Sesotho and Asian people. From then on, we travelled on a yearly circular route throughout the southern region of Africa: SA, Lesotho, Malawi, and Botswana. In every place we visit, we find that the spiritual atmosphere is vastly different, and our content and pace varies a lot.
Igniting revival for His glory
We are privileged to constantly see lives transformed with many salvations, broken hearts healed, marriages restored, depression lifting off people, signs, wonders, and healing miracles. Our goal stays the same: to ignite revival for His Glory that leads to sustainable transformation.
