President Trump is telling the world that the ultimate ruler and judge of all is not him. It is God.
During his trip to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the US president told the world what exactly who is in charge, and it’s not any human authority.
“I believe it is God’s job to sit in judgment,” the US president says on the video posted to X by Jenny Korn. “My job [is] to defend America, and to promote the fundamental interests of stability, prosperity and peace. That’s what I really want to do.”
While many people have characterized Trump as someone seeking power, this statement shows that he realizes who is in control above all others. Trump is setting the precedent to the world that he is just here to serve the American people.
“I will never hesitate to wield American power if it’s necessary to defend the United States or to help defend our allies,” he concludes.

In a world where leaders often elevate their own authority, President Trump’s declaration stands in stark contrast—acknowledging that ultimate power and judgment belong to God alone. By publicly recognizing divine authority over human affairs, Trump sends a clear message not only to the American people but to the nations of the world: he is a servant of the people, not a master over them.
As he continues to speak of defending America and seeking peace and prosperity, Trump’s remarks in Riyadh mark a significant moment of alignment with timeless values—faith, service and duty. His statement reinforces the idea that true leadership is not about dominion but about stewardship under God’s sovereign hand. In doing so, he not only defines his role as US president but also sets an example for others in power to remember who ultimately rules over the affairs of men.
