Public Opposition Escalates Against Redefined Marriage / SOGI / CSE

Family Policy Institute (FPI) was invited to co-sign an International Submission in response to the UN “Report on Sexual Orientation and Gender identity” – along with several global pro-family organisations. I also sent a submission in my own name which they confirmed will be published on the UN Independent SOGI “Expert’s” website along with other submissions.

Thank you for signing the Petition to the UN Independent “Expert.” To those who took the time to draft and send a submission, a big thank you! Your voice will be heard. The thousands of pro-family submissions the UN HRC received conveys a clear message – the majority of the world’s citizens still hold a traditional view of gender, marriage and the family.

The UN Independent “Expert” on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) inadvertently verified what we have warned parents for the past 5 years, that “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE) is not merely sexuality education but rather LGBTQ sexual indoctrination to further the political and social agenda of global sexual rights radicals.

I will participate in the 65th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW65) – an annual United Nations conference – held virtually 15 – 26 March 2021. Abortion, feminist and sexual rights activists typically use this forum to push a radical anti-family agenda. As an authorized UN NGO, FPI will counter these agendas by promoting family values.

As a result of ongoing efforts to target innocent children with sexual indoctrination in education, we extended our digital marketing campaign to reach a much wider audience.
We created several social-media platforms under the banner of, “Common-Sense Sexuality Education” where comprehensive information will be shared and updated about “Smart Choices,” “No Apologies,” “Not Guilty” & “Tomorrow’s Leaders in Training” (TLT).   

We also updated the ‘Digital Brochure’ with more relevant information – like which programs are CAPS compliant – to help parents and educators make informed choices. Please help us disseminate this brochure by sharing it widely on your social media platforms.

I have sent FPI’s submission on the “Single Marriage Statute” to the SA Law Reform Commission (SALRC) on 15 March 2021. Although I am encouraged by the several request’s I received for my submission, I am not sure how many citizens actually made a submission to the SALRC in defense of marriage. Thankfully, several Christian leaders and prominent organisations have indicated they will endorse FPI’s submission. You can too.

Government’s proposed redefinition of marriage is unnecessary, unreasonable and contrary to the common good. It will abolish, in law, the historic consensus that marriage is a union between a man and a woman. It will also abolish, in law, the terms ‘husband’ and ‘wife.’

The South African government is not changing the marriage laws because its citizens demanded it. It plans to abolish man, woman marriage to appease minority sexual rights groups and foreign agencies like UNESCO, UNFPA, UNICEF and other anti-family radicals. 

You have just two weeks left to speak up for marriage! Please write to the SALRC and respectfully oppose the proposed redefinition of marriage by the deadline date 31 March 2021. Please address your submission to Pierre Van Wyk at pvanwyk@justice.gov.za

A one page or half page submission in defense of marriage will suffice. The SALRC must hear from South African citizens. Do you agree that marriage be redefined as a union of two people regardless of sex, sexual orientation or gender-identity? And that marriage no longer be defined in law as a union between a man and woman? If you don’t, speak up!

If you fail to speak now – marriage, recognized by every nationality and culture for millennia as a union between a man and a woman – will be abolished in South African law forever. 

Please help stop the sexual indoctrination of innocent children by sharing the Common-Sense Sex-Education info and defend marriage by writing to the SALRC today.
