I am currently in Nairobi, Kenya representing South Africa at the Pan-African Conference on Family Values. The event draws together pro-family leaders and government & Church representatives from across Africa and the world, for three days of discussions to find ways to collaborate effectively to defend the family and promote Biblical values in Africa.
The relentless assault on the sanctity of life, the primacy of the family, parental rights, the innocence of children, the safety and dignity of women and religious freedoms has created social chaos and dysfunction in every nation in the world. We must establish a strong and sustainable defense against the attacks of the global sexual rights movement.
Tragically, South Africa is the only African nation to align with UN agencies and the European Union to aggressively push radical abortion and sexual rights ideology in public policy. The ANC has implemented every anti-family policy devised by global leftist radicals.
However, Donald Trump’s return to the White House has dramatically altered the political ideological landscape in the world. The ACPF Conference in Kenya provides African pro-family leaders unique opportunities to strategize with their international counterparts to find ways to collaborate to expose and defeat the agenda of global sexual rights radicals.
President Ramaphosa recently suffered several defeats in the courts. Following the DA (and EFF) court victory that reversed the 0,5 percent VAT hike, the DA – the second largest member in the Government of National Unity – appears to be taking advantage of the momentum generated by its VAT success to challenge other bad ANC policies in court.
The DA challenged the “Employment Equity Amendment Act” in the High Court arguing the law grants too much power to government to rigidly set employment targets that could potentially lead to unfair treatment in the workplace. Judgement is reserved in this case.
The DA also challenged the loss of citizenship rights at the Constitutional Court and won. The ConCourt ruled sections of the “Citizenship Act” unconstitutional and invalid for stripping South Africans of their citizenship if they obtain citizenship with another country.
In addition to the DA challenges, the High Court ordered Ramaphosa to provide his reasons for signing the National Health Insurance (NHI) into law prior to the Elections in 2024. The challenge was filed by the Board of Health Funders (BHF) and the SA Private Practitioners Forum (SAPPF). Both groups question the constitutionality of the process.
Besides the unaffordability of the NHI scheme, the ANC has proven it is incapable of governing a modern democracy like South Africa. It has run the public healthcare sector into the ground as a result of mismanagement, corruption and gross incompetence. How then will a corrupt and inept ANC provide universal healthcare for all 62 million citizens?
To make matters worse for President Ramaphosa, the Trump administration insists the “Expropriation Without Compensation Act” (EWC) is simply a mechanism devised by the ANC to steal land from its citizens for the benefit and enrichment of its corrupt cadres.
The SA government is “engaged in diplomatic discussions” with the US admin regarding its classification of South African Afrikaners as refugees. The New York Times reports the first group of Afrikaner refugees will be welcomed in the US by the Trump admin this week.
The Trump administration has taken issue with the ANC’s Iran backed prosecution of Israel at the ICJ and its multiple race-based laws that discriminate against minority groups. The ANC’s BEE and labour policies are a proven deterrent to investment and economic growth.
The ANC is steadily losing political support as its corrupt practices and economy killing policies are exposed almost daily. It is using tax-payer money to buy support from various groups. The ANC allocated R408 million to the taxi industry under the guise of a “Covid relief grant.” This is an appalling misuse of public funds to buy votes for the failing party.
The ANC’s governing failures are now glaringly evident at every level of government. ANC led provinces like Gauteng and the Eastern Cape are in various stages of collapse. Municipalities led by inept and corrupt ANC cadres are bankrupt and falling apart.
The public sector is so bloated that it drains R724 billion from the fiscus. ANC policies fail to grow the economy and create jobs, so gov’t acts as the largest employer in the country. Despite repeated promises, Eskom fails to achieve its targets, like every other public entity.
The City of JHB’s City Power again proves why the ANC’s cadre deployment policy is destroying SA. Unlawful appointments of corrupt and incompetent ANC cronies have severely undermined the nations’ economic turnaround to create much needed jobs.
Ramaphosa presides over the most corrupt and destructive administration to date but continues to make bold promises the liberal media laps up. The people of SA must rise up against the ANC and its destructive policies. Please pray, speak and act for SA’s revival.

It’s time for a change of government to one that is competent. And it’s no use looking to the ANC’s two delinquent children to take it’s place. That would be like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.
