Angus Buchan was deeply moved after receiving a letter from a Mogale City (Krugersdorp) resident asking if he would consider holding a Prayer Meeting in Mogale City. The resident and many other members of the community are desperate for a move of God in their town – which was labelled ‘Devilsdorp’ by a documentary series about the town. The area is plagued with unemployment, shocking levels of poverty, crime, drugs, alcoholism, satanism and absolute despair. Uncle Angus received photos of communities living in tents, children running around with very little clothing’, despite the cold. The desperation and hopelessness are tangible. Feeling righteously angered by what the devil has done in this community, Uncle Angus agreed to hold a prayer meeting in Mogale City.  JESUS needs to be spoken over that town and area, and we know that at the name of JESUS, the enemy will flee.

Saturday 24th September is the date that has been decided on.  A team from Shalom Ministries is working closely with a team from Mogale City and we have seen how Jesus has made a way to secure a venue that is perfect to host the Prayer Meeting. Miracles are already happening, and more and more people are climbing on board to get involved and support this event.

“We will not only be praying for Mogale City, but for all the people in our beloved South Africa. This might be the very match that will light a burning REVIVAL through our country. It is only Jesus that can save South Africa. We will SPEAK JESUS over our country, over our people, over our government, over the sick, the depressed, over the unemployed. We will SPEAK JESUS over addictions, over poverty, over corruption and over every occultic stronghold. We believe that it is only Jesus that will bring healing, change, and hope to our country.  That is why we are calling this event: SPEAK JESUS”.

Please come and join us in prayer. Encourage your family and friends, your churches, your schools – old and young; to join us and to believe together that NOTHING is impossible for Jesus.  It is time for the body of Christ to join together and unite in faith, we have been separated for too long. Never again, do we want to hear of a town referred to as Devilsdorp. 1 John 4:4 tells us that ‘Greater is He who is within us, that he that is in the world.’ We have nothing to fear as we have Jesus fighting for us. All we need to do is pray. As the old adage says: When men work, they work; but when men pray, God works.

The event is for FREE – no tickets will be sold.

There will be plenty of parking – please don’t come with an empty car. Fill it up with fellow believers and those that don’t know Jesus. Let’s trust Jesus together for REVIVAL in South Africa.’

How can you get involved. Please pray with us, as 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says – We are to pray without ceasing. Pray for the meeting, pray for Mogale City, pray for the government, pray for South Africa, pray for your neighbour who doesn’t know Jesus, pray for your loved ones. PRAY.
