“Many families have not received any food in three weeks!”
The organisation, Take the Nations, has not only been feeding people spiritually and training ordinary church members to be evangelists and how to disciple new converts. Under the leadership of Daniel du Toit and his wife, Bea, the team of Take the Nations, are also serving the churches that they are walking a road with, in very practical ways during the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier this week the team made their way to Khayelitsha in Cape Town.

“We are helping some of the churches that we have been involved with. Many families have not received any food in 3 weeks! It was difficult not to cry when we saw the reaction of joy when people in Khayelitsha received food parcels today. We had a total of 31 parcels made up and today there were 31 families that were in urgent need, who received the much needed help. These parcels will last a family of four up to two weeks.
“It was glorious! Once again I want to thank you everyone helping us to do this. Please continue to support us as we make a difference in this area of Khayelitsha.”
In a world where two of the great evangelists, Billy Graham and Reinhard Bonnke, recently passed away, it is only natural to look for the next generation who will fearlessly obey God and carry the torch of the Gospel.

Daniel du Toit is one such a young man. For him and Bea some of their first dates were spent sharing the love of Jesus with the drug dealers, gangsters and prostitutes in Long Street, one of the more notorious streets in Cape Town after dark. At 21 Daniel already has more than 140 churches in South Africa and Zambia partnering with his ministry, Take the Nations.
