The recent Jesus Campaign held in Kaduna, Nigeria, was described by the Take the Nations team as one of the most remarkable moves of God they have ever witnessed. The spiritual hunger grew stronger each night, and by the fifth evening the crowd had once again doubled in a supernatural way. People gathered everywhere – in front of and behind the stage, in parking areas, homes, and alleyways. The field was filled to full capacity.
Thousands respond to the power of the Spirit
The atmosphere continued to build as evangelist Daniel du Toit preached on the power of the Holy Spirit that is given in Christ to every believer. When the invitation was given, thousands streamed forward. Testimonies poured in from people whose hearts had been changed and who had received the Holy Spirit, along with a new boldness to testify about Christ.
Miracles that astonished the team
According to the report, there were so many miracles that the team could not even work through all the testimonies. One woman who had been weakened for years by occult bondage received complete freedom. She expelled a worm after prayer and testified that her strength returned instantly. Two brothers who had both been deaf and mute from birth were able to hear and speak after prayer. There were also many testimonies of pain disappearing, physical strength being restored, and great joy among the crowd.
Muslims respond to the light of Christ
Another remarkable element of the campaign was the large number of Muslims who were present and accepted Jesus after hearing the Gospel. The team believes that God visited Kaduna in a deep way and that His light will continue to shine where darkness once ruled. The final night was described as a historic outpouring – a multitude encountering the power of God.
A harvest riper than ever before
Take the Nations once again expressed their gratitude towards supporters. The team testifies that Nigeria is being transformed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that the harvest is riper than ever. They note that this campaign was only possible because believers were willing to sow into the harvest.
They are now preparing for the next Jesus Campaign in Jos, Nigeria, from 17 to 21 December. Every prayer and every contribution helps to shine the light of Christ even brighter in the north. This is a time of harvest, and each one of us can be part of what the Lord is doing there.
