While in Israel, in the garden of Gethsemane, we prayed for Paul’s (one of our staff members) daughter. She has cancer. We took this picture of her with us, placing her there that day as we prayed for healing. Upon returning home, Paul shared feedback with us. Most areas where the cancer was, are now clear – her eyes, lungs, head, and neck. I thank our miracle-working God today for what He has already done, and also for the full healing to her entire body.

Wow JOY! Travel – you are naturals. Jackie and Gawie, thank you for leading our tour. The humbleness and the respect for each and everyone around you – only a true son and daughter of God can be like that. Thank you for helping us to connect with our Creator. Thank you for the crash course in swimming in the ocean. Thank you for sharing with us the rich knowledge about Turkey. Thank you to the friends that I have made during the trip, I love you all. My highlights of the tour were: The hot air balloons, the 7 churches we visited, the cruises, and the market day.

My wife, Mahrga, and I have had to face many challenges over the last 16 years – the building of homes, building of businesses, and building our family – with four kids added to the mix. We then went through a season of many losses – we lost our businesses, lost our homes, had massive issues with our adopted son, and then finally a total marriage breakdown. We left JHB, started again with our training entities, and formed the ICH Group of companies. Nearly two years later on our new journey, our house burnt down. This pushed us to a breaking point – our marriage changed into a separation, pending divorce. God had to do a miraculous work to bring us back together and restore our family. We had the privilege of celebrating this breakthrough on a JOY! tour, where the pastor renewed our wedding vows and held a ceremony for us. We are now more in love than ever, with Jesus in the centre. Our family has been restored, with other amazing breakthroughs in the businesses.
