I am a craftsman – the other day I was busy manufacturing and installing a large wooden shelf in a friend’s garage. They wanted a spot to stack their firewood. I was about halfway through the job when my electric drill packed up and stopped working. This was a huge problem for me – not only could I not finish this shelving job, but I use this drill daily for all my work. I closed my eyes and prayed.
An answer to prayer
Five or so minutes went by, and the Lord sent an answer to my prayer. My friend’s sister, who was temporarily staying with them, walked into the garage and asked me if I wanted some tools that her partner had left behind, as he had moved to the UK. She gave me a tool box with some odds and ends in it. There, all the way at the bottom of the box, was a drilling machine exactly the same as my one that had just broken… The sister said that I could take everything in the box, and that she didn’t want any payment for the tools. I was lost for words. I know that this blessing could only have come from our Lord, as every job I go to I pray for blessing and guidance with the project.
God is always for you
I thank You Jesus and pray for Your continued blessing and support of my work and health, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
