It seems that barriers are being built to hinder the spread of the Good News of Jesus every day. We should not be surprised. We have an enemy who is a disruptive spiritual force globally and committed to stealing, killing, and destroying. Paul, the apostle who operated in a world dominated by barriers – political, religious, and cultural – put it this way in his letter to the Romans: “Thus I make it my ambition to preach the Gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on another man’s foundation.”

Barriers create opportunities
Yet, barriers create opportunities for the Gospel to spread! It may seem illogical, but it’s sometimes the case that when Christianity is legal and freely practiced in a country, people begin taking it for granted. It often leads to stagnation or decline in Christian zeal. The point is – the Gospel frequently spreads fastest where barriers and persecution are present.

Jesus is Good News
While society pushes against the Gospel, God primes it to respond to the Good News that Jesus came to bring. This He does by calling TWR to minister via effective media platforms. He also provides the resources, the methods, and a calling which is tailor made for the evolving world environment.

May I invite you to do one or more of the following?

Europe
Roughly two-thirds of the global Christian population once lived in Europe. Today, the continent is steadily moving toward post-Christianity — and we want to change that! Our global network is taking the Gospel to 33 countries in 35 languages across this spiritually forlorn continent.

Asia
Since 1977, the Lord has enabled TWR to minister in some of the least likely places across Asia, often amid less-than-ideal circumstances. By His grace, what started as a radio-only ministry now speaks hope in 100+ languages on multiple media platforms.

Camena
TWR’s “CAMENA” region covers Central Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. Across this region, we have projects for people from all age groups. Radio, portable media devices, and social media are all used to reach those who reside in this region. We have also upgraded the infrastructure in the region to enhance the ministry’s ability to grow.

North and South America
TWR’s long history of ministry in the Americas dates back to 1964 when our major broadcasting site was established on the Caribbean Island of Bonaire. Today, in addition to the Bonaire station, we air Christian content on hundreds of local stations throughout Latin America, ministering to individuals across the region!
