UN demands global schools adopt controversial gender policies

FPI pro-family ally, C-Fam reports, “The UN’s independent “expert” on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) demands schools across the world must reject binary gender norms, provide gender-affirming services, and normalize diverse sexual orientations in classrooms and libraries.” Indoctrinating innocent children is a key sexual rights strategy.

Graeme Reid claims, “these measures are needed to protect LGBTQ students from discrimination and bullying.” The DA proposed SOGI in W/Cape schools for the same reasons. That is, deny the biological reality of male and female to enforce an irrational ideology on millions of school children to advance the global sexual rights agenda.

Predictably, mostly European Union (EU) states voiced “strong support” for this insane policy, which surprisingly includes Israel. The EU created a dominant voting bloc at the UN by annexing African, Caribbean & Pacific nations (EU-ACP Treaty) to advance its agenda.

The UN “expert” report demands schools “eliminate gendered requirements in school uniforms” and provide access to bathrooms, locker rooms, and sports teams based on “self-identified gender.” In other words, eliminate the male, female reality altogether and create an environment  where children can choose one of several self-identified genders.

The UN is the epicentre of global sexual rights idelogy. The primary focus of the work of UN agencies and its “independent experts” is the dismantling of the God-given and God- defined institutions of marriage and the family and redefining the roles of men and women.

The report criticized sexuality education that “focuses narrowly on reproduction, binary gender roles and the heteronormative nuclear family model” (reality) and instead asked for comprehensive sexuality education that is “inclusive of concepts related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and diverse family structures” (non-reality).

Sexual orientation and gender identity ideology is the primary tool of sexual rights radicals to confuse children about their sexual identity. This ideology is embedded in “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE) currently being taught in SA’s public schools.

Thankfully, the Trump administration opposes this harmful agenda. EU nations supported by UN agencies are the primary proponents of the sexual rights agenda across the world. But EU nations don’t have enough votes at the UN to push through its anti-family agenda. But the “EU-ACP Treaty” does. It buys the votes of African, Caribbean and Pacific nations.

Sexual rights radicals in the EU and UN use similar tactics to impose LGBTQ ideology on children in schools and society. Gender ideology is advanced under the guise of “protecting LGBTQ individuals from discrimination.” Significantly, however, in order to achieve the SOGI objectives, girls and boys must be stripped of their unique male, female identities.

This ideology is evident in the ANC’s gender-neutral “Marriage Bill.” The God-created institution of marriage is redefined to include same-sex and transgender unions. No longer will marriage be the exclusive union of a man and a woman – if the ANC gets its way.

Graeme Reid’s report contradicts another UN Special Rapporteur. Reem Alsalem’s “Violence against women in sports” report says, “the knowledge of female athletes that they may be competing against males… causes extreme psychological distress” to women and results in a “violation of their privacy in locker rooms and other intimate spaces.”

Alsalem also told the UN Human Rights Council “that disconnecting gender from biological sex violates human rights law and puts women at risk.” Despite UN documents affirming man, woman marriage and the unique roles of men and women in it, EU nations supported by leftist funded UN agencies relentlessly push its anti-family ideology on member-states.

In fact, as C-Fam reports, “the terms “sexual orientation and gender identity” are highly ideological at the UN and are not recognized in international law nor referenced in any binding UN treaty.” Sexual rights radicals ignore reality to impose its ideology on the world.

FPI has “Special Consultative Status” at the UN and works tirelessly with its pro-family allies at the UN and internationally to expose the anti-family agenda of sexual rights radicals across the world. Marriage and the family – and the biblically defined roles of men and women – are the bedrock of society. We must do everything in our power to protect it.
