Urgent Call For South Africans To Pray And Fast For Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng

South African Christians are being called on to pray and fast for Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, following charges that were made against him recently, after he expressed his support for the nation of Israel. Chief Justice Mogoeng, who is South Africa’s longest-serving Chief Justice and is due to complete his 10-year term this year, was ordered by the Judicial Conduct Committee (JCC) to apologise for and retract pro-Israel comments he made during a webinar that took place last year.

Christian and Jewish groups came to Mogoeng’s defence after he was criticized by the ANC and anti-Israel groups in an attempt to silence him and remove his constitutional right of freedom of expression.

A campaign by Vuka Africa Foundation’s Healing of the Nation of Africa called upon the Church to pray and fast for Chief Justice Mogoeng for three days. This came about after Vuka Africa Foundations Founder, Apostle Linda Gobodo, received a Word from the Lord.

Describing the message she received from the Lord, Apostle Linda Gobodo said, “The judgment is not just an attack on the Chief Justice, but also an attempt to undermine the authenticity and trustworthyness of the Word of God, and anyone who chooses to believe it.” Referencing Esther 4:13-16, she said, “If the Church remains completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Chief Justice will arise from another place, but the Church in South Africa will surely suffer more.”

Healing of the Nation of Africa has asked that Christians around the nation of South Africa and beyond share this news with friends, family and churches, to encourage others to join this prayer and fasting initiative in support of Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng.

Fast for 3 days and 3 nights, neither eating or drinking – taking only Holy Communion (except for those whose medical conditions do not allow them to do so). Esther 4:13-16

4-Day Word Watch:
Bible believing South Africans are to participate in reading the whole Bible in 4 Days, each person committing to take a one-hour slot to read out their portion in any language, from Genesis to Revelation.
