Have you ever asked yourself how you can really make a difference in the Kingdom of God? Harvesters needs your help to plant churches by just walking.

Imagine being a part of thousands of like-minded people across the world who, all at the same time, participate in a mass effort in order to change the world. Now, imagine them having loads of fun while doing it.

The Global Gospel Walk is exactly that.
A virtual, peer to peer challenge where you, together with everyone you know, walk 25 km – or as close as you can get – in the sixteen days from 16 March 2019 to 31 March 2019, and in the end donating 1 cent for every step taken.

Every cent donated help to plant a church, every church planted changes a community and changed communities ultimately change the world. Every 5 people who participates in the Global Gospel Walk sponsors a church plant as well as the full three year training of a pastor for that church!

To complete the Global Gospel Walk challenge, you will walk 25 km in 16 days.
This is equal to 1,56 km per day or 15 minutes per day or 2 250 steps per day.
25 km = 36 000 steps.  Your donation towards the Global Gospel Walk, at 1c per step would equal to R360.

Every 5 people who participate and complete the challenge and make a donation of 1c per step would then sponsor the planting of 1 church as well as the full 3 year training of a pastor for that church!

From the beginning of March 2019 you will be receiving regular emails to remind you and motivate you for the action that will take place from 16 March 2019 to 31 March 2019.

Our invitation to you is:
– Register now.
– Grow the network.
– Do the walk.
– Dedicate every step you take between 16 March 2019 to 31 March 2019 to a cause that have a global impact.

Some ideas and tips to get 25km done is 16 days:
– Walk with your family, friends, cell group or co–workers.
– Park a block further from work and walk to the office for 16 days.
– Use your lunch break for a prayer walk every day for two weeks.
– Dedicate the 18 holes of golf you play on Saturdays to global change.
– Do a parkrun near you on each of the three Saturdays of the Global Gospel Walk.
– Challenge your church to a 16 day prayer walk of 15–30 minutes a day.

The possibilities are endless!! Whatever you decide to do – have fun doing it. Thank you for making a difference!
