After nearly two decades of inaction, the Cave of the Patriarchs is getting a facelift that will help even more people experience this ancient holy site.
The Cave of the Patriarchs is the burial place of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their wives, Sarah, Rivka and Leah and it’s about to become accessible to people with disabilities.
Specifically, it will be made accessible to those who cannot climb the steps to the religious site revered by Jews, Christians and Muslims.
Well done Israel!
