Today, we find ourselves called upon once again to extend a helping hand, to be the shining beacon of hope for our fellow countrymen and women who have been deeply affected by the devastating floods and storms in the Western Cape. In times like these, our collective strength shines the brightest, and together, we can make a difference.
Heal Our Land, a registered NGO and disaster relief organization based in our beautiful country, has launched an initiative to provide much-needed relief to the victims of this natural disaster. They are tirelessly working to bring essential items such as clothing, food, water, blankets, and other essentials to those who have lost so much. This is a moment where we can demonstrate our compassion, our generosity, and our solidarity.

Alternatively, you are welcome to drop off donations of nonperishable food, water, blankets, clothing, bedding, baby nappies, and mattresses to our temporary distribution center at Firlands, adjacent to the Firlands Shell garage on the N2, Gordons Bay, at the foot of Sir Lowrys Pass. You can find directions here. (please note that this is a temporary distribution center specifically for the Western Cape floods, open on Thurs 28 & Fri 29 September 2023 from 09h00 – 16h00). Please call us at 021023 3307 or 079 217 1644 to arrange an alternative drop-off time. Alternatively contact us if you would like to volunteer at the centre to receive goods.
