South Africa has recently endured a traumatic few weeks, where the nation has been found in the balance… Many have faced the outbreak of a third wave of the coronavirus – confronted by trauma, stress, fear, and death.
God helps us through difficult times
This dire situation brought me to my knees, drawing deeper to what God is saying in this time. Looking to the Bible for wisdom, in two of the clearest examples of the Israelites crossing over the Red Sea – and the Jordan River – God did not take them around the waters, but through the waters. Why did He allow the Israelites to endure this trauma? Was God growing their level of faith, as He was teaching them their utmost dependency on Him? Perhaps He was growing their expectancy for a greater future? The Red Sea and the Jordan River were the test for those who would arise with a DIFFERENT SPIRIT…
Discerning the current season
God has faith in you – He has so much trust in His processes in you that He will allow you to endure this present pain! A DIFFERENT SPIRIT, the spirit of faith, will never dwell on the present, void of understanding and discerning the times. As of the sons of Issachar, scripture records, they discerned their current time and season.
An extraordinary life
South Africa and the nations of the world are being shaken, and in this season, it is time for those of a DIFFERENT SPIRIT to arise. Looking beyond the Red Sea and seeing the Promised Land will ignite faith and courage to arise. God’s purposes, His plan, and His book for your life will never change. The choice to rise in the power of faith, the power of the Spirit, will result in you and me traversing into living an extraordinary life.
Crossing over into the supernatural
We are in the time of crossing over into a new era of the supernatural becoming an everyday phenomenon in our lives. Covid and the recent insurrection in our land are all tests of the Red Sea, for us to press through with a DIFFERENT SPIRIT. This spirit will release a people who will be defined by the miraculous, a people who are not constrained by the current age we find ourselves in.
