The Church is in a season of tribulation, and many are longing for the same quality of lifestyle and of worship that we enjoyed in past seasons. We are in a time of war – nations are in a war and the Church is in a war for her worship and for her relevance in the nations. The Church has to know her identity, rising up and assuming her Apostolic governing role for this new year.

The Church will experience the following:

  1. A huge shift between the seeker-sensitive churches and those with a revivalist heart will become very evident. Many will fall into apostasy, while the fires of revival – burning for His presence – will continue to grow stronger in other hearts.
  2. Revivalists and reformers will begin to demonstrate greater signs and wonders – as the remnant rises in their God-given authority. These ones will know their God in line with Daniel 11:32.
  3. Prophets and Apostles will lead the Church, fulfilling their mandate in giving direction and destiny to the Church. Just like the Sons of Issachar (1 Chr 12:32), they knew the times/seasons, they were powerful in the alignment of Israel in her destiny and mandate.
  4. Church leaders will be taken home early as they have completed their assignments on this earth.
  5. A Prominent church leader will have his secret sin exposed, this will bring much anger and disappointment to his congregations…
  6. False prophets will be dealt with very harshly, coming under God’s judgement. The foundations of divination and witchcraft, the mixture of tradition/Christianity will be exposed. Many true saints will arise, flowing in signs and wonders as the demonstration of God’s true power
    is released.
  7. The Church and marketplace will work together, as God is redeeming the marketplace to the pattern we find in the Book of Acts.
  8. Believers must give themselves to intimacy, prayer, and fasting as Jesus is returning for the virgins, those whose oil lamps are lit brightly.
