Whatever happens on 29 May, we must be fully prepared to defend faith, family and freedom in SA. If the ANC loses its majority in Parliament, we can defeat several bad Bills.
Legislation not finalized by the ANC majority will be re-evaluated by the newly elected 7th Parliament sometime in June. This includes the “Single Marriage Bill,” the “BELA Bill,” the “Hate Crimes Bill,” the “Sexual Offenses Amendment Bill” and several other bad policies.
FPI will also re-double efforts to stop the sexualisation of children in the education system after the Elections. Working with our international partners, we will intensify our work to cancel Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and transgender policies in schools.
As a result of an unexpected increase in Family Policy Institute’s (FPI) workload in the first quarter of 2024, which included two visits to the United Nations in New York to support the vital work of the “UN Family Rights Caucus” and meet with international pro-family allies, FPI is lagging behind budget with just four weeks left to the General Elections on 29 May.
We have much work to do over the next four weeks to reliably educate and inform voters about the true value and consequence of their vote in this critical General Elections. Various polls consistently indicate the ANC will lose the national majority it held since 1994.
The assault on faith, family and freedom is escalating. We must remain vigilant. Sadly, however, we cannot remain effective in this fight if we lack the necessary funding to execute our vision.
The anti-faith and anti-family groups we battle daily are extremely well funded. FPI cannot compete with their multi-million-dollar budgets – but we do need a fighting chance!
I am assisting with the launch of revolutionary new AI technology that blocks online pornography to protect children from predators. We discussed the huge potential of Redax AI with Dawn Hawkins at the “National Centre on Sexual Exploitation” in Washington DC.
We’re negotiating the launch of this technology at the Coalition to End Sexual Exploitation Global Summit in Washington DC 5 – 8 August 2024. Redax AI will be a game changer.
I am working with Family Research Council (FRC) in the US on a plan to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of pro-family organizations in Africa. FRC plans to utilize its 45-years of experience and expertise to bolster the efforts of active pro-family groups in Africa.
I have been invited to serve on the board of the “African Christian Professionals Forum” – a strategic regional organization defending and promoting faith, family & religious freedoms in key nations across the Continent of Africa. This will enhance our work significantly.
Your prayers and financial partnership in the ministry of FPI is therefore critical. We labour diligently to bring positive change to South Africa, the Continent of Africa and globally. But we cannot do this work on our own. You are a valued and vital partner in FPI’s work.
There are efforts to silence you. FPI works tirelessly to amplify your voice in the corridors of power. Please donate today so we can fight for your values where it matters most.
