The Transgender Resolution tabled by South Africa at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva (UNHRC), co-sponsored (in good faith) by Eswatini, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, India, Iceland and Canada, was adopted without a vote on Thursday 21 March 2019.

Although the SA Government and the liberal media claim the Resolution was “adopted by consensus,” more than one third of UNHRC members disassociated themselves from the text of the Resolution on procedural grounds.

A DIRCO statement declares, “The Resolution, adopted in the 40th session by consensus and without a vote is aimed at eliminating discrimination against women and girls in sport, giving significant global weight from a human rights perspective to Caster Semenya’s case.”

However, the dissenting nations statement raises serious concerns about South Africa’s motives. The Resolution appears to have been fast-tracked to coincide with “Human Rights Day” in SA and intended to influence the decision of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) in the Caster Semenya case.  

South Africa is the only African nation that actively supports the radical abortion and sexual rights agenda that includes special privileges for the LGBTQI movement, undermining parental rights and authority, the erosion of religious freedoms, sexual indoctrination of children (CSE) and decriminalised prostitution.

Family Policy Institute (FPI) along with its local and international allies are not only monitoring the relentless assault on the natural family, we are working hard to expose and defeat this insidious agenda.
