Doctors for Life International (DFL) invites everyone to their virtual annual general meeting on 9 September 2023 from 10h00 until 14h00. The speakers are Prof Dr Theo Boer, Dr Mirian Grossman and Dr Michelle Cretella.

Professor Dr Boer has extensive experience in the ethics of euthanasia and assisted suicide. The title of his discussion is Euthanasia, and he will share experiences from the Netherlands. He served on one of the five Regional Review Committees on Euthanasia from 2005-2014, reviewing in hindsight whether cases of euthanasia or physician-assisted suicide have taken place in accordance with legal requirements. In 2007 he wrote that “there doesn’t need to be a slippery slope when it comes to euthanasia. A good euthanasia law, in combination with the euthanasia review procedure, provided the warrants for a stable and relatively low number of euthanasia.” Prof Dr Boer has since become increasingly critical of developments in this field and  one of the most vocal critics of the Dutch euthanasia law. 

The second speaker, Dr Miriam Grossman is a psychiatrist, author, and public speaker. Before gender ideology was on anyone’s radar, she warned parents about its dangers in 2009 in her book, You’re Teaching My Child WHAT? She recently released her new book,  Lost in Trans Nation: A Child Psychiatrist’s Guide Out of the Madness. Dr Grossman’s practice focuses on gender-confused young people and their parents. She has been vocal about the capture of her profession by ideologues, leading to dangerous and experimental treatments on children and betrayal of parents. She completed an internship in paediatrics at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City and a residency in psychiatry at North Shore University Hospital.

Dr Cretella is the former Executive Director of the American College of Paediatricians. She became one of the world’s most outspoken physician critics of gender ideology. She has been consulted by multimedia outlets. She serves on the Advisory Board of Advocates Protecting Children and the Alliance for Therapeutic Choice. The title of her discussion is Transgender Belief: Healing Minds, Embracing Bodies & Saving Lives.
