I am grateful to God my previous newsletter and video entitled, “The Death of Marriage in SA” was shared widely across South Africa. I conducted numerous (video recorded) radio interviews countrywide and participated in several online meetings with Church and civil society leaders.
The deadline for the “White Paper” stage of the draft single “Marriage Bill” is 31 August 2023. You can still submit your comments to Moses.Malakate@dha.gov.za or Agnes.Molefe@dha.gov.za However, following this stage, the draft single “Marriage Bill” will move to Parliament where the Home Affairs Portfolio Committee will deliberate the Bill and invite further public comment.
Family Policy Institute (FPI) will create a for-purpose online portal with guidelines to assist citizens to easily make submissions on the “Marriage Bill” during the Parliamentary process.
Critically, our efforts to reliably inform and mobilize citizens to oppose the draft single “Marriage Bill,” the “BELA Bill,” the decriminalisation of prostitution, “Hate Crimes” laws and other anti-faith, anti-family and anti-freedom legislation – has considerably increased FPI’s workload.
Sadly, however, FPI’s funding has not kept pace with its increasing workload. We therefore need your immediate response to fund our vital work to defend the family and advance Biblical values in Parliament, the media and general society. We cannot afford to slow down at this critical stage.
Please make a generous tax-deductible donation to FPI today – to help keep us on the frontlines of the battle for faith, family and freedom. You can transfer your contribution directly into FPI’s banking account. Tax-certificates are available on request at anaidoo@familypolicyinstitute.com
We are also mobilizing against the “Basic Education Laws Amendment (BELA) Bill” that aims to grant government officials the power to override parental and ‘School Governing Body’ authority to extend its control over the education values and choices of children including homeschoolers.
The “Federation of Governing Bodies of South African Schools” (FEDSAS) registered its shock at the appalling abuse of political power when it discovered between 6000 and 9000 public submissions on the BELA Bill was not considered by the Portfolio Committee on Basic Education.
FEDSAS have threatened legal action if the controversial BELA Bill is passed in its current form.
Please partner with FPI today and help strengthen our ability to intensify the fight against blatant corruption and political abuse in government. We must keep citizens reliably informed about the dangerous policies advanced by the corrupt ANC regime – so we can effectively oppose it.
The “Illinois Family Institute” in the US published an insightful article entitled, “The Totalitarian Agenda Behind LGBTQ Sex-Ed Revolution at Schools.” The article will help parents better understand the dangerous lies and propaganda targeting innocent children in public education.
FPI is leading the battle against the radical sexual indoctrination of innocent children in the public schooling system – more commonly known as “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE). Since CSE was piloted in public schools, teen pregnancies have skyrocketed in South Africa.
That’s why I worked with SA educators to develop “Smart Choices” – a values-based common sense alternative to the dangerous abortion and LGBTQ propaganda embedded in CSE.
We need your prayers and critical financial partnership to fight for your values where it matters most. The single “Marriage Bill” that will strip men and women of the exclusive legal definition of marriage must be stopped. But we need your prayers and support to remain in this battle.
FPI faces formidable battles for faith, family and religious freedoms in the critical months ahead. We need your prayers and financial partnership now than ever before. Please make a decision today to partner with FPI and generously donate to its vital work for faith, family and freedom.
