If you are praying for South Africa – continue praying fervently, asking God to free the nation from the clutches of the corrupt and the wicked for the sake of its people. Strangely, ANC Secretary General, Fikile Mbalula admits his party is “infiltrated by criminal cartels.”
What Mbalula failed to admit, however, is that the ANC transformed South Africa into a mafia state in the first place, creating the lawless conditions for organized crime to flourish. What Mbalula fails to grasp is that the ANC is the criminal cartel destroying South Africa.
While the ANC SG lambasts party-members guilty of corruption, AfriForum has demanded the NPA prosecute Mbalula for the corruption he is implicated in during his tenure as Minister of Sport. Almost every senior member of the ANC is mired in fraud and corruption investigations, costing the over-burdened tax-payer billions.
And while the current ANC SG faces prosecution, the former SG, Ace Magashule is on trial for multiple counts of fraud and corruption for the more than R200 million asbestos scam in the Free State. Others involved in the scam were rewarded with parliamentary posts.
I am struggling to stay abreast of the steady wave of reports exposing the staggering rates of corruption, tender-fraud, theft, money-laundering, racketeering, gross mismanagement of state resources, the collapse of infrastructure and general public-sector malfeasance.
Although the revelations beggars belief, the fact that the ANC is being publicly exposed for its horrendous crimes against humanity is an indication it is a dying organization. The Madlanga Commission reveals how the ANC transformed the SA Police Service (SAPS) into a criminal syndicate with links to drug cartels and prominent organized crime figures.
The apparent suicide of former Police Minister, Nathi Mthethwa in Paris recently adds to the intrigue. Mthethwa was the subject of various investigations into police corruption. The details surrounding his death are not clear. But I am sure there is more to this story.
While the Madlanga Commission exposes the rot in SAPS, the Tembisa Hospital saga reveals the brazen looting of healthcare resources. The Gauteng Health Dept has been complicit in several scandals over the past years including the Life Esidimeni atrocities in which ANC officials were responsible for the gruesome deaths of 144 vulnerable patients.
Cyril Ramaphosa’s nephew is the chief instigator in the R2 billion Tembisa Hospital tender-fraud scheme. The ANC facilitated the looting of a vital health facility leaving it in ruins. Despite this, Health Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi insists the ANC is fully capable of managing the National Health Insurance (NHI) scheme to provide quality healthcare to all.
When evidence of corruption emerge, President Ramaphosa establishes a Commission of Inquiry. The Zondo Commission exposed widespread corruption in the ANC. Several other Commissions also revealed the brazen criminality within the ANC. But Ramaphosa and his predecessors simply ignore the Commission’s findings and its critical recommendations.
ANC Gauteng Premier, Panyaza Lesufi is under investigation for corruption that involves the chronically mismanaged, City Power. The ANC looted this entity into debt of R16,3 billion. The City of Johannesburg lies in ruin – run into the ground by inept ANC cadres.
Seven ANC run municipalities in the Eastern Cape will collapse within a month if not rescued. Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality incurred wasteful expenditure of R22 billion. Children are dying of hunger in this ANC stronghold because school nutrition feeding schemes are riddled with corruption and mismanagement by ANC cadres and cronies.
Incredibly, despite rampant ANC facilitated corruption, the largest political party in government is bankrupt. The party is in debt for R85,5 million for election banners it had printed in 2019. The High Court froze the ANC’s banking accounts and seized its assets.
Although this must be sickening to read, the positives are, the ANC’s crimes against humanity are being exposed. The 2026 Municipal Elections will serve as a gauge of the party’s dwindling support. The ANC’s municipal performance is nothing short of disastrous.

Julius Malema’s second guilty verdict means he could potentially be booted from Parliament. The EFF, like the ANC is imploding. The criminal conduct of the corrupt, racist, and incompetent leaders of the ANC, MK, and EFF parties will hasten their demise.
Continue to pray for SA. Pray that God will expose the wickedness done in the darkness and help us root out the corrupt and install honest and competent men and women in authority. Above all, pray that His Church will recapture its prophetic voice and speak up.
