The fight against out-of-control corruption in South Africa was dealt another blow when Andrea Johnson, the head of the “Investigating Directorate Against Corruption”resigned with immediate effect after Madlanga Commission testimony implicated her in corruption.
Most law enforcement agencies including crime intelligence are tainted with corruption. In the past 8 years of Cyril Ramaphosa’s failed presidency, criminal collusion with the state grew significantly. A large part of SA’s economy is now controlled by organised crime.
The W/Cape High Court granted Ramaphosa’s interdict to pause the impeachment inquiry into the Phala Phala scandal. However, the African Transformation Movement asked the Constitutional Court for direct access to appeal Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala interdict.
Family Policy Institute (FPI) is working diligently to expose and combat corruption through its partnership with “Rescue SA Civil Rights Alliance.” We have also opposed the redefinition of man, woman marriage in the gender-neutral “Marriage Bill,” the agenda to legalise prostitution in SA and the sexual indoctrination of innocent children in education.
FPI launched its (July–December) fundraising campaign on 28 July to finance our vital work to defend the family and advance biblical values in Parliament, the media and general society. We must raise approximately R450.000 to fund our work over the next 6 months.

FPI face formidable battles over the next 5 months (August – December 2026). The battle to preserve marriage as the exclusive union between a man and a woman is heating up. The ANC is hell-bent on redefining marriage to include same-sex and transgender unions.
FPI is fighting to defeat this agenda and protect the biblical definition of marriage. If government redefines marriage it takes a sledgehammer to the foundations of society. Marriage is an ancient bedrock institution of society and a common good for all people.
The ANC led GNU refused to defend South Africa’s laws that criminalise the sale and purchase of sexual services. The foreign-funded “Sex Workers Education and Advocacy Taskforce” (SWEAT) asked the High Court to repeal the laws that criminalise prostitution.
This case will be heard in the Western Cape High Court in October this year. FPI has been fighting this agenda since 2009 when the ANC tried to legalise prostitution for the 2010 World Cup. We will generate mass public awareness to oppose this proven harmful policy.
FPI’s 10-year opposition and exposure of the dangers of the harmful sexual indoctrination embedded in “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE) in school curriculums is gaining traction. We developed a safe and credible alternative to CSE called “Smart Choices.”
I serve as Director of “Rescue SA Civil Rights Alliance” (RSACRA) to hold corrupt politicians accountable in courts of law for their crimes against the people. On 19 May we lodged our first case at the High Court challenging the constitutionality of race-based laws.
If successful, this case will fundamentally change the way BEE laws are implemented and more importantly, end apartheid-era race-classification in SA. The ANC uses BEE laws to discriminate against certain racial minorities and enrich a small politically connected group.
RSACRA will lodge its second case against the ANC led GNU in the next few weeks to hold them accountable for the water crisis in SA. ANC cadres destroyed vital infrastructure, looted public funds and caused massive debt that will burden taxpayers for decades.
