Family Policy Institute (FPI) is working with attorneys and Advocates to oppose SWEAT’s High Court application to repeal the laws that criminalise the sale and purchase of sexual services – thereby legalizing the entire sex-industry. This by-passes the legislative process.
Legalizing all aspects of the sex-industry including making legitimate business people of pimps, brothel owners and syndicates that control prostitution rings – is the most socially destructive policy that deepens the exploitation and abuse of vulnerable women & children.
If President Ramaphosa signs the “Basic Education Laws Amendment” (BELA) Bill into law, FPI will act as “friend of the court” in a High Court case that will challenge the constitutionality of the Bill. Attorneys believe many aspects of the Bill are unconstitutional.
FPI is currently engaged in several major battles to defend and protect Biblical values in South Africa. Attacks against the Christian faith, the natural family and religious freedoms are escalating. That’s why we need your prayers and partnership to remain in the fight.
I have been invited to participate in Family Research Council’s (FRC) “Pray, Vote, Stand Summit” in Washington DC, 3 – 6 October. FRC will host pro-family organizations from the continent of Africa for strategic discussions on how to strengthen our work in our nations.
I also plan to meet with the team from the “National Centre on Sexual Exploitation” (NCOSE) in Washington DC. they are assisting us with international expertise to defeat the agenda to legalize the sex-industry in SA. NCOSE’s help is critical to stop this agenda.
I must improve FPI’s financial situation urgently to effectively combat the agenda to legalize prostitution in SA, defeat the BELA Bill and stop government from redefining man-woman marriage in the “Single Marriage Bill.” Your support is critical in this battle.
If we raise the necessary finances to travel to the US in October, I plan to meet with the leadership of the “International Organization for the Family” (IOF) in Washington DC. They will assist FPI with international expertise to defeat the agenda to redefine marriage.
FPI is intensifying its work to expose and combat the sexual indoctrination of innocent children in public schools. However, a lack of funding has undermined our efforts to cancel “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE) in education and offer credible alternatives.
If the BELA Bill is signed into law, the Department of Basic Education (DBE) plans to make CSE and Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity (SOGI) policies compulsory in schools. That’s why it must be defeated. The “Smart Choices” curriculum is the safe alternative.
The ANC is trying to bulldoze the unaffordable National Health Insurance (NHI) scheme despite major opposition. It intends to replace private medical-aids with state-run health care systems in cahoots with the corrupt World Health Organization. This must be stopped.
FPI faces formidable battles ahead – but many opportunities as well. Your prayers and partnership are vital. FPI has no other source of income. The generous donations of faithful partners are what enables FPI to fight for your values in South Africa.
Thank you! May God bless and prosper you for supporting His Kingdom work in SA.
