Thank you for submitting your comments by the 30 June deadline on the “Green Paper on Marriages in SA,” the “DHA Questionnaire,” and the “PEPUDA Amendment Bill.” Critically, your views provide a perspective that often conflict with government’s ideological agenda.

The legislative objectives of the “Single Marriage Statute” and the “PEPUDA Amendment Bill” empowers LGBTQ groups to punish Bible-believing Christians and force the Church and other sectors of society to comply with the twisted ideology of “sexual rights” radicals.

The ANC government has proved beyond doubt it is incapable of governing a modern constitutional democracy like South Africa. The governing party is irredeemably corrupt, hopelessly incompetent and ideologically brainwashed. It is no friend of decent law-abiding citizens, a professional and competent business sector or people of faith and conviction.

A once proud and principled liberation movement, the ANC is a mere shadow of its former self. Tragically, within 27 years, this once world renown liberation movement transformed itself into a political party and more recently mutated into an organized criminal network with the primary goal of enriching its cadres with billions looted from the national treasury.

The governing party makes laws it willfully disregards while it threatens law-abiding citizens. In the past two weeks both the ANC and the EFF defiantly flouted the level 4 lockdown regulations. The EFF led a mass protest March to the SAHPRA Pretoria HQ recently and the ANC hosted a mass rally in support of former president, Jacob Zuma at Nkandla in KZN.

The Constitutional Court ruling sentencing Jacob Zuma to 15 months in prison for contempt of court is a litmus test for the ANC government. Will it uphold the rule of law by arresting Zuma and deliver him to Westville Prison or will it undermine it by finding a way out?

The SA Police Services (SAPS) ignored both illegal “super spreader” events that clearly contravened level 4 lockdown regulations. At Nkandla, ANC (private) militia in military fatigues waved SAPS away and took charge by directing traffic and controlling crowds.

High ranking ANC officials turned up at Nkandla to demonstrate their solidarity with their former president charged with corruption, fraud, money laundering and racketeering. Mr. Zuma has defied the State Capture Inquiry, a Constitutional Court ruling and every principle of democratic governance. And by so doing, further impoverished millions of citizens.

President Cyril Ramaphosa is out of the country and remains silent on Zuma’s jail sentence. Deputy President, David Mabuza is in Russia for a mysterious “health check” presumably, because South Africa’s medical system does not measure up. This may also explain why government imported doctors from Communist Cuba at a cost of more than R400 million to overburdened taxpayer while more than 500 South Africans doctors remain unemployed.

And while the ANC government threatens church goers, surfers and joggers with arrests for contravening lockdown rules, ANC and EFF members brazenly flout the country’s laws. The majority of people at the EFF March and the ANC Nkandla rally (including Jacob Zuma) willfully ignored the health and safety protocols without consequence.

Alarmingly, while the ANC and EFF host actual Covid-19 super-spreader events, the Christian Church is falsely labeled super-spreader gatherings without evidence and shut down. Restaurants, that strictly obey health protocols are also shut deepening the economic crisis while crammed to capacity taxis are overlooked because they threaten violence.

President Ramaphosa stressed that all public gatherings are strictly prohibited. Police Minister, Bheki Cele warned anyone caught violating the level 4 lockdown regulations will be arrested. Following its former president, top officials and members open defiance of the countries strict lockdown laws, Ramaphosa, Cele and the ANC’s silence is deafening.

The Christian Church and people of faith must now acknowledge the ANC regime is not their friend. The ANC is not the friend of the sanctity of life, the family, business, law and order, excellence in education and health, honest and efficient governance and social cohesion.

The warring factions within the ANC are fighting tooth and nail for power, prestige and position – not for the privilege of serving the people of this nation but to enrich themselves and their cronies at the expense and misery of millions of desperately poor citizens.

Church and civil-society leaders must boldly rise up and inspire the people movement that will consign the ANC to the dustbin of history. As a people, we rejected the apartheid regime because of its crimes against humanity. For the same reason, we must reject the ANC.

  1. The Lord God said to Avraham: “I’ll bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you” Now this ANC kleptocracy has cursed Israel and its people many times. That is why South Africa is enduring all these curses. May we turn back to Father God and bend the knee only to Him and ask for forgiveness, and may God rebuke those who are disregarding Him.

  2. The hypocrisy of the ruling party and many of the wanne be political parties has become more and more obvious, yet still the millions are drawn to them. Lawlessness has become the norm ….. but only if you are connected to these organisations of political influence. May the church rise up and voice its disapproval of this inequality, and insist that the churches be opened. With the care and all protocols being pursued, there is far less chance of contracting the virus in Christian fellowship, than going shopping in the local supermarket, or visiting a government public affairs office!
