The Dare to Love team has been full of smiles, serving others wholeheartedly through their #IamSERVOLUTION movement. Filled with a desire to see real change, the team is eager to carry out the mandate of Christ to go and love one another, and be His vessels of love and life. And there’s no stopping them! Here is a report on what the team got up to in the past week.
Balfour, Mpumalanga – 24 April 2021 – Gardens For Life Project
Equipped with gardening tools and hearts full of love, the Dare to Love team arrived at Harvester Church in Balfour early in the morning on 24 April to spend the day with men, women and children of the community. Pastor Andile and his wife Thandaza, from Harvester Church, were wonderful hosts and welcomed the team with open arms.
With a plan to plant a ‘Gardens For Life’ project, the Dare to Love team enthusiastically began the day by engaging with the community. The excitement was tangible in the cold morning air, as the Dare to Love team quickly began to set up and plant the garden with the locals. It was a beautiful day for everyone involved. Francis and Marco, from the Dare to Love team, carefully explained how to plant a garden and make compost.

Everyone worked together well, and a wonderful lunch was provided. The Dare to Love team thanked God for the privilege of being the hands and feet of Jesus, and for the great honour of being able to bless and impact communities, one town at a time!

Louisiana, KZN South Coast – Freedom Day – Beauty out of ashes
On Freedom Day, 27 April, the Dare to Love team visited Sinothando Creche in Louisiana, located on the South Coast of KZN. Motivated by an agenda to love, the team quickly set to work to help restore the school, which had been burned down previously.
In an answer to prayer, God supernaturally provided a steel structure as a replacement building for the school. The Dare to Love team transported the structure all the way from Pretoria to Louisiana, KZN, and they are thankful to God for His supernatural provision all along the way!
The day was spent blessing the local children and families in the community around the school. Cookies and chocolates were provided, with labels displaying the true message of freedom from God’s Word.

As the wide-eyed children enjoyed the songs, love and celebrations, filling their tummies with sweet treats, the sweet fragrance of love filled the atmosphere. The children rejoiced in hearing the message of God’s unconditional love for them!
The message of the Dare to Love team for the day was that true freedom and liberty is found in serving one another in love.
“For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another”. Galatians 5:13
