The Dare To Love movement launched an initiative at the beginning of September with the goal to get people serving, on a personal level, in their communities and practically anywhere you could think of going in your day.

Here are some examples of what transpired during the month of Servetember:

I recently finished a yearlong course during which many truths were revealed about our purpose here on earth. It struck me deep within my heart when I realized we have purposefully been sent to serve one another with our gifts and talents. No two human beings have been blessed with exactly the same unique configuration of emotions, personality, character traits, gifts or talents.

Imagine a planet where every person’s intent when their feet hit the floor in the morning was “How can I serve my fellow human being today”, and be excited about it as well! What a difference that would bring in our everyday lives, for all of us…the world over. Each of us have been fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of the Triune God, His love flows through us every minute of every hour of everyday, that should be such an inspiration as we draw from the Love of Christ flowing through our veins. I get excited just thinking about it, I hope you feel the same.

I hope that it inspires you to join us in keeping the initiative that started in September alive and well, help us grow this movement by starting with the people around you, small things, every act of love sends ripples through the atmosphere touching and inspiring the person/s you are blessing to do the same.

1 Peter 4:10 “God has shown you His grace in many different ways. So be good servants and use whatever gift He has given you in a way that will best serve each other”.

Although this initiative kicked off in September, the idea and objective is to grow the momentum to a point of communities coming together and working towards uplifting their surroundings by simple acts of kindness.

Our own Team was very active in:

  • donating seedlings,
  • planting gardens,
  • filling potholes,
  • feeding and ministering to the destitute and homeless,
  • cleaning street poles and statues by removing obscene and tasteless flyers,
  • cleaning up litter in the suburbs,
  • paying it forward in the toll-gate queue for the person in the car behind them,
  • purchasing bibles and writing a personal message to the person receiving the gift.

Isaiah 58.10 “If people are hungry, share your own food with them. Help those people who are in pain. Then your help to them will be like a light that shines in a dark place. You will no longer live in darkness, but you will have light as bright as the sun at noon”.

  • Demonstrate Love, jump into action;
  • Support with Love, refuse to fight, pray against violence;
