In its attack on the world, Covid-19 has not bypassed any of us. It has undone financial systems, church services have been shut down, family relations have been broken down, and the reality of death has confronted many. In my quest for spiritual understanding of this disease, that which God has been working behind the scenes, I came to the following conclusions:

Covid is part of an end-time strategy to facilitate the plans of a “new world order” upon the earth. This world order seeks to bring all of humanity under the control of the antichrist spirit, which is preparing the way for the Antichrist to soon appear.

Covid is a time where the power of our words is being tested.

My testimony of being healed from Covid
Severe sickness is no stranger to my body. In 2005 I was struck down by Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). From being a healthy and fit sports lover, within a matter of 24 hours my body was completely paralysed from head to toe. I was told that I only had days left to live. I survived, by the grace of God, and was then told that I would never walk again. Today I am a living miracle.

Covid overtook my body
Fast track to 2020, Covid-19 became a reality for us all. Applying the same principles that I had used when I was diagnosed with GBS, I felt the need to intensify my confession and my testifying as to what the Word of God says about our healing. For months I confessed, trusting God that I would be immune, until Covid overtook my body. It was a time of despair – I struggled to breathe, I longed to be out of quarantine, only to be told that repeatedly that I was not healed and to go back into quarantine. The torment I endured – would I escape death? And what about the after effects?

God is speaking to His Church to get ready for His return. He is asking us to discern the “time and the seasons.”

The Spirit arose in me
After 21 days of intense prayer, the Spirit arose in me and said no more. I decided to start living my life normally again. I had beaten Covid in the spiritual realm, I knew that I would be fine. My life and God’s calling destiny would be fulfilled. During the time of sickness and the months following the healing of Covid, God has spoken to me of many issues. I questioned the following:

1. The readiness of the Church and my readiness for the return of Jesus to the earth
Are we, the Church, going about our business preparing for His return? With much busyness in daily life, have we lost our place of intimacy and true worship? This depth of intimacy is described of Adam and Eve, the same intimacy that Jesus enjoyed with His Father here on earth.

2. The act of compromise, choosing rather to please man instead of pleasing God
For many of us, we do not consciously realise that we have become the church that Jesus speaks of in Laodicea – we have lost our first love for Him and His Kingdom. We are about to be spewed out of His mouth.

3. The realisation that our bodies are a temple for the Holy Spirit, to carry out His work and His mission
Laying on the bed, weak and unable to move, many times I realised that I had not taken the time to rest my body. I had not honoured the temple God gave me. The gluttony, the dishonour of our temple, the absolute neglect for healthy living is all too apparent in God’s Church today.

4. The power of our words
Covid is a time where the power of our words is being tested. Are you testifying to the Holy Scriptures over your life and body? Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

Are you ready?
Is Covid the last of this type of pandemic on the earth? The answer is no. We are about to encounter something much more severe than Covid. God is speaking to His Church to ready herself for His return. He is asking us to discern the “time and the seasons” that we are encountering. The Antichrist world order is around us – will fear and trepidation take hold, or will the true saints arise, those who know their God, standing strong and doing exploits? This is the hour that calls for true repentance and the return to a commitment to living the full and uncompromised Word of God. Selah.
