The ANC, the largest party in the Government of National Unity (GNU) is pushing ahead with its anti-family agenda. The ‘Home Affairs Portfolio Committee’ is hosting public hearings across the country on the gender-neutral single “Marriage Bill” that seeks to redefine man, woman marriage in law. Most SA citizens oppose this destructive policy.

FPI is spearheading efforts to mobilize citizens to oppose this foreign driven agenda. Marriage is a bedrock institution – a social good for all people. When governments tamper with God-given institutions like marriage – they undermine the very foundations of society.

Religious marriage officers and Christian wedding venues are not protected under the single “Marriage Bill.”  FPI must inform and equip citizens to oppose this dangerous policy.

Critically, however, FPI’s six-month fundraising initiative launched on 28 Jan 2025 is lagging significantly behind its goals at the halfway stage. We’re at 27 percent – at the 50 percent stage. This means FPI’s most vital projects may be suspended for lack of funds.

Please make a generous tax-deductible donation to FPI today to help us remain on the frontlines of the battle for faith, family and religious freedoms in SA.  You can EFT your
contribution directly into FPI’s banking account. Tax-certificates are available on request.

FPI face formidable battles ahead. There is a lot of work to do to defend the family and advance Biblical values in Parliament, the media and general society. Sadly, however, FPI’s finances has not kept pace with its workload. We may not make it to 30 June.

Please make a generous donation today to keep us in the critical fight for Biblical values.

Prior to the 2024 Elections, the ANC attempted to repeal the laws that criminalise the sale and purchase of sex – thereby decriminalizing the entire sex-industry in SA. The SA Law Reform Commission (SALRC) warned this is the most harmful policy for South Africa.

The “Sexual Offences Bill” stalled in Parliament as it was deemed unconstitutional. The foreign-funded “Sex Workers Education & Advocacy Taskforce” (SWEAT) has filed a High Court application to legalise prostitution in SA. The GNU did not oppose this application.

FPI is working with its allies to stop the decriminalisation of the sex-industry in SA. If this application is successful, the SALRC warns thousands of vulnerable women (and children) will be lured into prostitution as a result of the high rates of poverty and unemployment.

FPI’s submission on ‘Prostitution Law Reform’ was mentioned more than 50 times in the SALRC Final Report. The SALRC agreed with many of our arguments against legalisation.

FPI needs your prayers and financial partnership to fight for your values where it matters most. SWEAT and other anti-family groups are well-funded by foreign leftist organizations. However, we depend entirely on our ministry partners to fight for Biblical values in SA.

Please make your best contribution today. Your generous tax-deductible donation will fund FPI’s pro-family work in SA, including our international efforts to strengthen our alliances.

I serve on the Board of the “African Christian Professionals Forum” (ACPF). We are currently finalizing plans for a major Pan-African Conference on Family Values in Nairobi, Kenya in May. This event draws pro-family activists, NGO’s, MP’s, thought leaders and youth from the across the Continent of Africa and the world – to collaborate and strategize.

The global pro-family movement is energized by the significant change in policy in the US. The international impact of the Trump administration’s pro-life and pro-family policies has galvanized pro-family groups to take full advantage of the new ideological policy direction.

C-Fam – Family Policy Institute’s allies at the UN reports – the Trump administration was booed at the UN “Commission on the Status of Women” when the US and other nations refused to support the inclusion of gender ideology language in a joint UN Declaration.

The liberal Guardian news agency laments the Trump administration’s “attacks on women’s abortion rights” and warns against pro-family “hate groups” including the ACPF Conference on Family Values in Kenya that will promote “fear and distrust” among women.

The change in political ideology in the US has clearly rattled global sexual rights groups.

Sadly, FPI’s funding deficit means my participation in the ACPF Conference may be limited. FPI’s efforts to mobilize citizens to oppose the single “Marriage Bill,” stop legalised prostitution and the sexualization of children in education, and more, will be undermined.

FPI faces formidable battles ahead for faith, family and freedom. But we’re also presented with new opportunities to advance our values in the corridors of power. We must not lose momentum now because of a lack of funding. Please donate today & keep FPI in the fight.
