“I am grateful to Jesus for providing me and my village with a supply of food … We are grateful for the love that He has for us as poor people. I pray that God will bless the Krusa FM team, as well as the teachers who work here in my area, to preach the Word of God.”
On 14 December 2023, Krusa FM (FEBA Cambodia) demonstrated God’s love to the people of Village 5 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital, as part of their Christmas season celebrations. The team worked with Flame, an organisation that helps children from poor urban communities, to distribute food and school supplies to 50 families. FEBA Cambodia also gave each household a radio.

Proverbs says that “[whoever] is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and [the Lord] will reward them for what they have done” (19:17 NIV). After two years of hard work, FEBA Cambodia’s radio station finally has a self-supporting antenna tower. In addition to the very necessary technical upgrade this tower provides, it has also freed up land at the transmitter site, which will now be used to earn rental income and thereby subsidise the transmitter’s operational costs.
FEBA Cambodia ministers to many remote villages, where people struggle with poverty and its many thorns. Thanks to the new tower, Krusa FM can be heard by people who otherwise have no access to the gospel, like Ming Huong, a listener from the Pursat province who shares this testimony: “I am grateful that Krusa FM’s signal reaches my community. There have been many challenges for me as a mother, and in the past, I had a negative outlook on my family and children due to my stress and sadness. As a woman who aspires to be a blessing and a model of excellence for children, Krusa FM’s programs are a blessing that gives me a lot of encouragement and helps me think deeply about my life goals before taking any action. Jesus and Krusa FM have given me hope and insight, so I can face life’s challenges. I am praying that Krusa FM continues to grow and prosper.”
