The Logos Hope, the world’s largest floating book fair and OM mission ship, arrived in Richards Bay on January 21 for a five-month visit to South Africa.

Open to the public from Tuesdays to Sundays in Richards Bay, the ship offers over 5000 book titles and hosts special events. Entrance is R10, free for children under 12 and adults over 65.

Manned by 400 volunteers from 60 nations, the ship plans to engage in ministry with local Christians and mobilise South African Christians for mission during its stay. Follow the visit on Facebook: @LogosHopeSouthAfrica.

The port dates are:

  • Richards Bay – January 21 to February 18
  • Gqeberha (PE) – February 23 to March 17
  • East London – March 21 to April 9
  • Durban – May 8 to June 2
  • Cape Town – June 8 to June 24
